Despite lurking on the fringes of life  through the rebelliousness of our teen and younger adult years, there is always the hope of a page being turned in the book. "Keep on shining," despite of, or because, of who we were and who we are now. The book of life is certainly a more interesting read because of our struggles. Perhaps we just need to reconcile with our past, talk to your younger self, give him/her a hug, tell him/her that you understand their struggles and there is no blame assigned. Then turn that page and live in the now.
