Paploviante's done it again with Glitter, an intriguing super funky dance track that upon closer listening, plays with dissonance because each instrument is playing in a different key.  It's not that noticeable at first cause rhythmically it all works perfectly, yet when I jumped in to add a Rhodes track over the top, it was clear that Paul and them music is playing with your ear.  So instead of finding a completely different key as Paul so successfully did, I jumped in with one of the synth fills and had a little fun.  What a great track again from Paul, the Swiss music machine who creates and navigates across so many styles so well.  Paul's got a nasty bass line going as always and did such a marvelous job with the tight guitar, synth and electro backbeats.  I've had the pleasure of jumping into about 20 of Paul's great tracks and send a big thanks over to the Alps for his continuing creations for others to jump on. Challenge was to make one of my shorter songs with one of my longer lyrics, so I 'had' to craft it into an amalgam of 9/4 and 4/4 signatures. Thus, it may feel crazy on verses but I hope also catchy on refrains.

Letra / Translated lyrics:

Sólo pido no tener deseos (Ya no quiero imaginar)  /  I ask only not to have desires (I don’t want to imagine anymore)

¿Puedes explicarme qué es lo que me pasa?  /  Can you tell me what happens to me?
Señor, llévate de mí esta confusión.  /  Lord, take away this confusion.
Quítame el don de la inteligencia,  /  Take the gift of intelligence from me,
pues si no pensara tanto, sería feliz.  /  because if I didn’t think so much, I would be happy.

Siento que este mundo me es extraño,  /  I feel this world is strange,
estoy a disgusto con mis sentidos.  /  I get displeasure from my senses.

I was interested in music in my early youth... so I soon got my first synthesizer and set up a small home recording studio.
over the years i played keyboards in 5 bands...the direction was rock...pop...blues and soul.
in the meantime i have discovered my enthusiasm for creating my own songs.
it makes me happy when I can compose...arrange...mix...produce and create something new.
it's like a passion to experiment with different styles of music... and it gives me a lot of joy.
the only limit is your imagination...
is my motto.
and everything is possible...you just have to try.

music is pure magic...and part of the soul...
no one can escape her
let the music guide your mind...and that's the only way you'll get the freedom...you've always wanted
