Hate to be 'that person', but dunnocks aren't native to NZ, they're about 14,000km or so away from their native home - yep, right up here.  https://www.nzbirdsonline.org.nz/species/dunnock - they were introduced to NZ about 150 years or so ago. A Dunnock is a small, brown bird, about the size of a House Sparrow (which isn't NZ native either). The Dunnock has naturalised, but that's not the same as it being native. There are many British and European bird species which were introduced to NZ and Australia by the Victorians. We've got black swans doing very nicely up here, and there have been sightings of escaped emus. We also have red-necked wallabies. New years of 2022/2023 Doonz and I went on a roadtrip through the south island of Aotearoa (New Zealand) following Twisted Frequency Festival.
We stayed for 3 days in a cottage and we started a new tune. Working on headphones we kept hearing these psychedelic sounds, the strange thing was, they weren't coming from our computers. We went outside and saw these small little birds that sounded just like FM Synth sounds. It turned out to be a small bird called a dunnok. These birds were sitting on bunches of grass known as Tussock.
In the song you can hear samples of these birds along with many sounds inspired by them and their beautiful ecosystem.

The notorious mad scientist of Australian bush prog is renowned for his knowledge of sound theory and mathematics, something immediately evident in the clean complexity of his production. 

Throughout his career as a producer, Scionaugh has enchanted dancefloors across major festivals, including Earth Frequency, Esoteric, Elements, Bohemian Beatfreaks, Twisted Frequency NZ, Elysium, Groove and Bass CAN, and Wild Horses. Along these adventures, he has performed alongside scene heavyweights including Grouch, Electrypnose, Twisted Sibling, Pspiralife, Ryanosaurus, Sumiruna, Smilk, and Sensient.
