The day was kicking off and the EFF community were pouring into the stage by the time Scionaugh stepped up. The day doofers were out and already in full flight, hanging for deep daytime progressive from this wicked wizard. 

Playing an hour and a half of his latest releases & crowd favorites plus a heap of unreleased from the forthcoming EP 'Plasmogamy' and recently released compilation 'Subspecies 2', it was nothing less than spectacular!

I curated this live set to be a gentle yet invigorating start to the day. Setting the crowd up for a day of full power trance.

This set contains many unreleased songs including a few off of a new album with @kunisound which is well underway. 

It was an honour to share my music to this festival after years of attending as a punter. Wild Horses has one of the best vibes of any festival in Australia, a truly beautiful community with an energetic and playful dancefloor.

With this announcement, we're pleased to share 'Aotearoa', his first set that represents the beginning of our journey through sound.

Aotearoa challenges the name New Zealand—and pushes for a return to the Maori name for the land, Aotearoa. Co-leader of the Māori Party, Rawiri Waititi, “Aotearoa is a name that will unify our country rather than divide it."

A project borne of curiosity and sonic exploration, Scionaugh brings together a perfect balance of alien, instrumental and organic sounds that are equal parts groovy, driving and playful, the sonic sorcery of Scionaugh provides a dancefloor experience like no other.

The notorious mad scientist of Australian bush prog is renowned for his knowledge of sound theory and mathematics, something immediately evident in the clean complexity of his production. This knowledge has also formed the foundation of his Sektion Sound channel, through which he teaches sound design, waveform theory, and audio production.

Throughout his career as a producer, Scionagh has enchanted dancefloors across major festivals, including Earth Frequency, Esoteric, Elements, Bohemian Beatfreaks, Twisted Frequency NZ, Elysium, Groove and Bass CAN, and Wild Horses. Along these adventures, he has performed alongside scene heavyweights including Grouch, Electrypnose, Twisted Sibling, Pspiralife, Ryanosaurus, Sumiruna, Smilk, and Sensient. 

As well as these live performances, the Scionaugh project has released music on Universal Tribe Records AUS, Alpaka Muzik CAN, Weapon Records AUS, Technophobia Records ISR, Padang Records BRA , Sentimony Records LV, Visionary Shamanic Records UK, Jaira Records AUS, Mindscape ESP , Dense Nebula ZA, Tranquil Sounds AUS and Khao Records AUS.
