@etcha-1 is a Dutch born Berlin-based DJ and producer. He is continually in search of the magic that happens when place, time, people and music align. From the iconic Plastic People in London hosting legends of the progressive house sound (Darren Emerson, Paul Daley, Billy Nasty, Andrew Weatherall) he became one of the east London pioneers creating some of the first parties in the then overlooked part of London better known as Shoreditch.
His latest venture, along with partner in crime Dave Gadsden, the absolutely bonkers covert warehouse parties “Tryouts For The Human Race” has set tongues wagging and already reached cult status, selling out within minutes every release.
