Italian rising star Alex Mine made his SCI+TEC debut back in September last year with his popular 'We Waste' ep. Having already caught the attention and support of the likes of Hawtin, Cox and Dubfire, his first release for the label garnered the producer even more big name support from the world of Techno.

Undaunted by the task of a follow up Alex returns with his new three track 'Enigma EP'. Laden with bass-heavy driving kick drums, blindingly crisp percussion and sinister rolling grooves, Alex Mine's Enigma EP is another exemplary example of this young man's talent.

Freezing winters, packed after-hours, and a scene that thrives just outside the spotlight is Montreal’s rhythm. This VA draws from that energy.

Guy Laliberté invited a handful of local artists reworking Cirque du Soleil in their own language: raw, stripped-back, and built for the dance floor.

Each remix brings something different to the table, but they’re united by a shared sense of restraint. The grooves are tight, and the low-end does most of the talking. You’ll recognize the DNA of the originals, but the context is new.

Hicky & Kalo’s take on Temperatio stands out for its deep emotional pull — hypnotic yet understated, it channels the track’s theatrical origins into something more intimate and meditative, perfectly tuned for the early hours.

This VA is about grounding Cirque du Soleil in the pulse of the city. In studios, on dark floors, through sound systems that favor pressure over perfection. It’s a subtle, thoughtful collection that reflects where Montreal is at right now.

As part of Frooogs Records’ ongoing remix series, the Montreal VA takes Cirque’s legacy and gives it a new frame — one that feels lived-in, local, and ready for after hours.

With his latest release Waves, Sonnero invites us into a soundscape rooted in nature, emotion, and movement. Released via Harabe Lab, this two-track EP reflects the artist’s deep connection to ancestral stories and the introspective human journey.
