SCI+TEC looks to the East for their latest release and a label debut from Takashi & Isao, better known to many as SUDO. 

With an musical history steeped in the euphoric sounds of their live Trance project ‘Indigo’, SUDO have taken their sounds far and wide, playing festivals and parties across Asia and Europe. 2011 found Takashi & Isao looking to explore new sounds and directions, infusing their trance-talent with darker, tougher and often more industrial sounds. Techno was the path, and within months the duo were supporting the mighty Sven Vath on Cocoon’s Japanese tour, a feet that was to be repeated a year later. 

Today we welcome SUDO to the SCI+TEC family with their 4 track SCI+TEC debut, 'Monogram EP’. A selection of cuts that have already found favour with label boss Dubfire and are now ready to be unveiled. The eerie coded, melodic drop-lets and bell tone of title track ‘Monogram’ opens the release. ’Invisible Space’ and ’Twisted’ follow with their expansive atmospherics, sweeping rises and popping melodic riffs. ‘Sensation’ closes the EP and sees the brothers push things deeper and, as always, we’re again treated to an exclusive collection of SUDO DJ tools.

Polish-born, Berlin-based producer Pysh returns with a striking new release on Sincopat, distinct yet connected sonic statements that showcase his versatile approach to music. The EP also includes a timeless remix by Argentinian maestros Brigado Crew.

The EP opens with “Haunted”, featuring the haunting vocals of Anto9. This final cut dives into more emotional territory, where delicate textures and lyrical vulnerability meet a beautifully layered arrangement. It’s an evocative piece that lingers long after the last note fades.

Brigado Crew’s remix takes “Haunted” to the dancefloor, reimagining the track with a darker, more powerful edge. With driving grooves, tense atmospheres, and a peak-time energy, their reinterpretation transforms the original’s emotion into a dramatic club weapon.

Next comes “Apples & Berries”, a standout collaboration with Sincopat’s Big Kahuna, AFFKT.The track flows with warm harmonies, detailed sound design and an emotive structure that reveals the creative synergy between both artists. A deep and sophisticated jam that blurs the lines between introspection and movement.

Closing the release is “Oui Oui”, a playful yet refined track driven by hypnotic percussion and rolling melodies. It sets the tone with a groove that is both club-ready and subtly intricate, reflecting Pysh’s unique sense of balance between energy and elegance.

‘Think That’ kicks things off, with rolling drums. Layers of percussion complement the momentum, while a heartfelt male vocal is the centrepiece of this emotive cut. Auggië builds up the tension steadily, stacking the energetic layers, while the vocal taps into your emotional centre. Finally, ‘My Garden’ closes out the EP with a harder-edge and morose vibe. The low end has a mean streak, while the beats are crisp and punchy. This is juxtaposed with the bright, though slightly warped, male vocal that gives this track its character. Auggië carefully nudges the tension up and up until we arrive at a searing breakdown, and the energy increases in the second half. There’s even a guitar riff in there, adding a distinct organic touch... Perfect end to a powerful and creative release.
