Miami based maestro Kevin Castro is back on SCI+TEC for his first full outing, having previously appeared on the label’s Formula 4’ Compilation back in 2014 with his track Cubism. Today he returns with a new set of laser guided dancefloor weapons in the form of his ’SCI-FIX’ EP.

A sci-fi battle soundtrack leads the trio as we recoil and evade its firing shots. Crying out for a VJ extraordinaire, Ricochet is set to light up the room and inspire some matrix-like moves. Reach for ‘em.

The title track follows as we bend and flex with its rubbery bassline and aqueous drops, before crashing snares and ominous chords announce the break. But it is that pliable bottom end that will have us groovin' here.

Closing the ep is the dizzying bump of ReelDeal. Its flighty and cascading melody is a perfect hook, powered by its hulking, funky bassline.
