Hi, I’m the kind of person who sets alarms for things like “remember to reheat your coffee” and “don’t forget your phone is on the roof of your car again.” Life is a chaotic adventure, and I am the captain of my own barely floating pirate ship.

I grew up mastering the art of multitasking!! Mostly eating hot Cheetos while doing homework and somehow still convincing my teacher the red fingerprints all over my math sheet were “creative emphasis.” Those early years shaped me into someone who can handle just about anything life throws at me. Even if I’m laughing through it or making it into a ridiculous story later.

Fast-forward to now: I work as a loan specialist. Basically, that means I get to play superhero for people’s finances. Some days it’s spreadsheets and customer calls; other days it’s convincing people that Credit Protection Insurance isn’t a scam invented by lizards in suits (spoiler: it’s actually helpful). I take pride in helping people get through tough times, even if my coworkers know me as the one who will crack a joke mid-pitch just to keep things human.

But I’m not all finance talk. I’m like an onion, but with better perfume. I’m a mix of sarcasm, wild ideas, and a sense of humor that sometimes gets me in trouble. I’m the type to send my future husband an encouraging love text and then immediately roast. It’s called balance.

Outside of work, I collect hobbies the way other people collect fridge magnets. I’m into music (especially dubstep, where I may or may not transform into a wild rave creature), funny pet nicknames, random creative writing, and making comebacks that are just savage enough to sting but clever enough to make people laugh at themselves. If you hang out with me, there’s a 90% chance you’ll either leave with a new inside joke or a nickname you didn’t ask for.

One of my favorite qualities about myself is how I can turn almost any moment into a story. A trip to the grocery store? Boom, somehow I met a stranger who told me their life story while I was just trying to pick out grapes. A bug bite? Suddenly I’m on a quest for home remedies like I’m a medieval herbalist. Life’s too short to be boring, so I like to keep it ridiculous.

I believe in hard work, but I also believe that if you’re not laughing along the way, you’re doing it wrong. My coworkers will tell you I’m the hype line for the team, cheering them on and giving people nicknames like “CPL Queef Queen.” My friends will tell you I’m the one who will drop everything to hype them up, too, but also the one who will remind them not to text their ex at 2 AM.

Looking ahead, I want to keep growing in my career, my relationships, and my personal life. But I don’t want to lose the humor along the way. Life is weird, unpredictable, and sometimes really hard. If you can meet it with a laugh (and maybe a sarcastic one-liner), you’ve already won.

So, that’s me: a chaos coordinator, loan specialist by day, hype-woman by heart, part-time comedian, and full-time believer that silliness makes the world spin a little smoother.
