With his two successful ‘Ghetto Bass’ compilation albums cementing his knowledge of the genre in 2009 and more recently his latest release ‘You Give Me Something’ having quickly garnered support from tastemaking selectors like Mistajam, the Wideboys and DJ EZ, Hervé is now in the perfect position to release his ‘Dance To My Beat’ EP, out on the 9th of January.

The eponymous lead track is a no-holds-barred EP opener. Baltimore rapper TT’s high-energy verses are fiery party-starting material when layered over Hervé’s bouncing bassline and claps, whilst the chorus’ catchy melody is formed of chopped up robotic vocals, demanding listeners to “dance to my beat”.

Second track ‘Fuck The Speakers’ is a collaboration with Hervé’s long-time musical partner, Sinden. The duo clearly work well together, having produced so many hits in the past, and ‘Fuck The Speakers’ looks set to be no exception. Male and female robotic vocals repeat the eponymous refrain, whilst electronic notes reminiscent of old-school video and arcade games form the catchy topline.

F.U.Q.U.P is a powerful instrumental that clearly shows off Hervé’s jungle and rave influences, with the emphasis on a rumbling sub-bass. Dounughts Revenge is a similarly effective instrumental piece, featuring uplifting piano breakdowns and a jacking beat.

With a new album now in the pipeline for 2016, ‘Dance To My Beat’ perfectly showcases Hervé’s unique yet diverse styles of production.

As a kid A.N.D.Y. a.k.a. Andy Faisca didn’t have to think what he would like to be when he grew up... Music was and is the answer!

From a very early age this multi-instrumentalist was writing and making his own music. With a background of 70’s and 80’s disco, pop, hip hop and rock music Andy is a fanatic of all things past, turning them into music for the future. His love for the past is reflected in an almost religious use of old analogue gear, but also a general love for vintage stuff. At age 17 Andy discovered electronic music and started DJ’ing. He soon landed a residency at Brussels’ infamous Libertine Supersport club and his quest for a vintage personal sound hasn’t stopped since.

His first project called Mustang was born in 2009 with a debut E.P. on Gomma Recordings called ‘Chameleon Circus’. Prestigious remix assignments soon followed for Vitalic, Poni Hoax, Monarchy and many others. Recently he released the killer single ‘Shooting Love’ on Different Recordings, which has been remixed by Canadian house sensation Jeremy Glenn and by Black Strobe. Beginning of this year, he decided to start his proper solo project under his own name A.N.D.Y.

After remixes for Jupiter, The Supermen Lovers and Philosophy of Sound, A.N.D.Y. teamed with new producer Vicente for the recording of his debut single "Traffic". The Supermen Lovers and Jay Lamar & Jesse Oliver were called in and delivered awesome remixes.

'Rise Of Angel' is the brand new single from Luciano, and the first single to be taken from his forthcoming album, due in 2013.  However, for the many thousands of dedicated music fans who have made the pilgrimage to Luciano's hugely successful parties this Summer in Ibiza (the weekly Ushuaia sessions and Vagabundos at Pacha), or the many Cadenza parties around Europe and North America, 'Rise Of Angel' has already become the signature tune and musical hi-light in Luciano's sets, making its release a highly anticipated moment for the Cadenza faithful.

Clocking in at over 15 minutes, 'Rise Of Angel' is an epic slice of modern electronic dance music, the simply Balearic, synth and piano driven hook gently builds and teases with cinematic intent, the light percussion and organic beats working the old Luciano magic, it's no wonder that 'Rise Of Angel' has become one of the most talked about tracks of the Ibiza season this year.

For the remixes, Luciano has kept it in the family, enlisting the duties of fellow Cadenza artists Mirko Loko, UNER and Andrea Oliva to all lend their unique production styles to a solid set of reinterpretations.  The vinyl 12" is coupled with Mirko Loko's pulsating robotic workout, adding a more beats driven take on Luciano's original, and delving into the bass for a heavyweight techno flecked remix.

And bolstering the digital package, UNER weighs in with a dubbed out, rolling drum version, using the vocal FX to support the groove whilst the pianos ride over the mix, and Andrea Oliva goes straight for the 4/4 jugular with a remix that builds solid tribal beats to a crescendo, adding a new dimension to the Original with a choice vocal section.

'Rise Of Angel' will be Luciano's first release on his own Cadenza label since 2010's Lucien-N-Luciano's 'Cuidad De Luz' EP, and marks the start of another big chapter in his career, having spent the last couple of years building a passionate audience through hundreds of DJ performances around the world, the Vagabundos events and collaborating musically with artists such as Pharrrell (Neptunes) and Lenny Kravitz.  His forthcoming album will be his second full length collection (following 2009's ‘Tribute To The Sun’), and his label, Cadenza Records, will celebrate its 10th anniversary, so the future certainly looks bright for the Chilean producer and DJ.
