Nous sommes clairement tombés amoureux de cet album plein d’insouciance, de légèreté et de sensualité. “Elia Y Elisabeth” nous emportent sur la route de vacances, nous charment avec leurs voix angélique. Conquis aussi par l’ambiance latine, le son et la superbe production de cet album, nous avons pris plaisir à retravailler ces morceaux, sans vouloir en perdre l’essence ni la dénaturer , mais leur donner un nouveau “punch”, trouver “la” boucle parfaite pour l’avoir en tête. Ces “reworks” vous sont offerts pour remettre au goût du jour cet opus trop peu connu. De Nada !

Voodoocuts kicks off the A-Side with Kelja, a raw 70s afro-funk bomb from the Ivory Coast. The American-funk inspired tune features a funky bassline & killer organ vibe, mingled with a dirty, raw saxophone line and James Brown influenced vocals. Voodoocuts' rework turns the track into a serious dancefloor banger!
In 'The Tortoise Loop' Voodoocuts blends an infectious groove with pounding drum breaks and hypnotic vocals. A hot afro-latin joint not to be missed!
On the flip SoulBrigada takes things to a disco tip. 'Hustleman' is a stunning afrofunk & disco gem from West Africa. The second track 'Madera' is an afro-disco gem with a compelling Cape Verdean groove. 
SoulBrigada rearranged the tracks, added drums, samples and effects building a bridge between past and present – without ever losing its original organic vibe. Two essential tunes for your record bag!

NEPA ALLSTAR - The Way [Vinyl Rip]

This song is the result of a spontaneous session which happened in February 2017 in Sofia/Bulgaria at the recording studio of Koka Mass Jazz.. Starting from scratch and adding instrument by instrument 'Back To Vienna' turned fast into a hommage to the Vienna School sound of the early 2000s.
All recordings were done in one afternoon and some arranging and post-production later in March.
