Voted San Diego’s best hip-hop DJ four years running, DJ Scooter is a dj’s dj. Besides his technical skills on the turntables, he has an even greater ability to read and rock any crowd, “If the people aren’t happy and loving the music, I’m not doing my job.” Always trying to differentiate himself from the pack, he can often be heard infusing his sets with old-school, rock, mash-ups and original tracks. Yet, the music is always chosen to rock the crowd at hand.

From the California underground scene, DJ Scooter and Lavelle Dupree are award winning dj’s unto themselves. Yet, when they spin together on 4 turntables- there is, quite literally, nothing like them out there. With LaVelle's banging progressive mixes surrounding Scooter's hip-hop loops and turntable skills, they have to be seen as well as heard. This self proclaimed genre of “bangin progressive turntablism” is a unique style that has never been duplicated. Spinning together for 9 years, they have rocked shows all across the country and recently completed a 30 city US tour with Charles Feelgood.

Scooter and LaVelle have played together at some of America’s top parties including Gods Kitchen (USA), Winter Music Conference (Miami), House of Blues (Los Angeles & Las Vegas) Crow Bar (Miami) and the Sundance Film Festival (Salt Lake City) just to name a few. They currently hold residencies at Las Vegas’s premier party venues- Rehab at The Hard Rock Hotel as well as America’s #1 Halloween party, The Fantasy and Fetish Ball.

When they are not performing, they're in high demand for their production skills in the studio. The talented duo have produced numerous songs and are well known for their bangin, peak time, big room tracks.

Fast forward to the present, he’s now a musical force to be recognized and reckoned with. When he’s on the clock his sets flow effortlessly between Hip Hop, Funk, Soul, House and Electro and the dance floor is packed until the house lights switch on.

For 8 years Chris Cutz has been one of San Diego’s most sought after DJs. He’s the go-to guy for nearly every celebrity party that’s come into America’s Finest City and has entertained big names like: Beyonce, Kanye West, John Legend, Estelle, Jamie Foxx, Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton. Fresh & Cutz: One Sound, Two DJs.

Traditionally a 2×4 set consists of two DJs playing together at the same time. What makes a Fresh & Cutz set so different, however, is the combination of sound, energy, and vibe that their music creates. After 19 years of DJing together, these two artists know each other so well that they can effortlessly play off each other’s musical styles. The result is mesmerizing – akin to one DJ with four arms or a maestro conducting two orchestras.

When Fresh & Cutz are behind the decks, the visual show in and of itself is impressive. Both are master turntablists in their own right: each one bringing their own arsenal of music and style to each performance.
