Early in his adolescence he discovered techno culture inspired by a book called “TECHNO“ by Christian Zingales.
Having released his first Ep on Initial Berlin in 2015, Viels continued his musical path appearing with a track on the well respected dutch imprint Dynamic Reflection, followed by his debut ep “Distrophism” and contributing for the 10 years anniversary of the label, among some of the most recognised artists in the scene : Donato Dozzy, Mike Parker, Shifted, Oscar Mulero, Blawan, Jeroen Search and many more. Co-owner with Francesco della Sala of “End Of Perception”, Viels just released on label such Non Series with his solo ep "Timeless Speaks", Semantica Records, Edit Select.
With an increasing interest he is now resident of Acquario party in Milan and also performed in quality line-ups around the globe, with the likes of The Gods Planet, Svreca and Dasha Rush to name a few, Viels is establishing himself as part of a new wave of djs and producers approaching the contemporary techno scene.

Mod21 is the project of Manuele Chiaravalloti, an italian electronic music producer and experimental sound artist. Born in Satriano, Italy, his musical journey began in 2007 when he moved to Switzerland.
Here, after 7 years of musical research, produces his first two works released on the Munich based label Prologue. His music emerges from a deep and rich imagination which flows into sounds dark and slippery that seem to be born in the bowels of a parallel world to ours. Browsing increasingly abstract concepts of sound, carefully processed , the result is a particular footprint easily recognizable.

Hydrangea is a new French electronic producer, doing techno music deeply inspired by nature and its surroundings. She began producing music in early 2014, influenced mainly by the deep and hypnotic Italian techno.

So far, the Annulled Music Imprint has released Hydrangea's debut album, called 'Dawn Lights', a sensorial trip that captures each of your senses. She also released an EP on Two&Two Records and tracks on VA compilations, such as The Wandering II Compilation out on Silent Season. Besides being constantly preoccupied in reshaping her sound and developing new ways of expression through music, she's also a graphic designer and photographer under the alias Horty Shooter, managing the artworks for different music releases and graphic art projects.

Techno hit Japan hard in the early 1990s. Takaaki Itoh was quickly impressed and intrigued with this new sound. The unique style of beats revealed the gateway to a new world of underground music in Japan - something he had never heard before. 

In 1994, Takaaki began to organize his own techno parties in his home of northern Japan. By providing a fantastic lineup, his parties quickly became a success. In 1996, having decided that it was time to start making his own tracks. His Japanese style of techno was pure, unique and underground - nothing that had been heard before in Europe. His reputation and popularity quickly spread all over the continent. He was becoming recognized as Japan's most underground and respected techno DJ. 

As of 2001, he was getting offers to perform at large clubs and festivals all over Europe, like awakenings, berghain, tresor. Promoters wanting him, party people loving him. Takaaki Itoh took the next step and started his own label Wols. Passion led to success and he became recognized as the top of the next generation of techno music.

Pär Grindvik has been a central figure in the Swedish electronic scene since the 90s as record store owner, label manager and producer. In his artistic career Pär has released music across a plethora of acclaimed electronic labels, including a string of hits on his own Stockholm LTD imprint as well as Drumcode, with frequent collaborator Hardcell. Pär’s recent output has seen him contribute music to labels such as Semantica, Marbacka, Sinister and Dystopian.

Founded in 2002, Stockholm LTD began as an outlet for singles and EPs from Swedish artists with a focus on releasing timeless electronic music. It has since developed into a hallmark for finely crafted electronic music from a range of international artists.

Over the past two decades Pär’s involvement with the electronic music community has branched out across the globe. Openly passionate about supporting underground talent, Pär works closely with an ever-expanding repertoire of labels and artists.

As a DJ Pär tours the world, transporting his deft and uniquely dynamic DJ sets to techno fans internationally and on a weekly basis. His worldwide popularity as a performer stems not only from his skill and versatility but also as a result of the energy he puts into every performance. It's this combination that enables him to bring the heat to the best clubs in the world.

Pär continues to serve as one of the most exciting and hardworking contributors to the scene. Every inch of Pär’s work, including labels, artwork, release info and music, is wrapped with heart and emotion, a quality which keeps the sparkle and curiosity alive within the ever changing adaptations of the artistic world.

With over a dozen releases so far, it started with him self-releasing his first record on his acclaimed own label Dimensional Exploration in the end of 2012. 

Pushing already established boundaries, spanning genres and continuously evolving his sound while keeping it unmistakably his own, shows that he has not intended to stop anytime soon. With 3 albums and more than 100 releases on various labels such as PoleGroup, Soma records, Infrastructure NY, Token, Nachtstrom Schallplatten, Children of Tomorrow, Faut Section, Theory, Music Man, etc…including a variety of remixes, he has become a worldwide reference in his field.

Proof of his production skills can be seen on his remarkable remix CV, working with the biggest names in techno (Surgeon, Regis, Mike Parker, Reeko…), and most recently artists such Funk D´void and Percy X from Soma records, etc.

Wünsch’s hardwork has earned him a position on the line ups of the best clubs and festivals all over the world.

With an impeccable career, this international artist has made a name for himself with dark and abstract atmospheric sounds, becoming one of the producers, whose name has appeared all over the world on the labels and charts of other great artists.
Christian was one of the founders of Polegroup, and he was also one half of the ´Spherical Coordinates´ with Oscar Mulero.

Marked by his awakened sensibility to depth, Feral consistently carries a thread of spirituality throughout his work. Feral’s affinity for the shamanic calls of the tribal drum have led him across the world to discover and nurture his defining sound. Finding comfort in the solitude of his studio, Feral’s visions emerge in the crepusular hours of his native city, Rome.  With a heightened sense of spatial awareness, the sounds of Feral unearth the path of his multidimensional world, transporting the listener to a haunting, yet grounding refuge within.

DJ Yazi has been active since the mid-1990s,  as a member of Tokyo’s notoriously avant-garde hip hop group called Think Tank. The record label Black Smoker Records founded by the group took their experimentalism to a series of club nights called El Nino, and DJ Yazi remains its resident for two decades. Drawing inspiration from across the musical spectrum: the mentality of hip hop, the intensity of dub and jazz, the ferocity of techno and the euphoria of house. As a DJ he moves fluidly across styles, with his sets connected by a strong focus on deep and tripped out grooves. His attention to details, precision and masterful control over the decks clearly show his long time involvement in this art form. He also performs with Haruka as Twin Peaks, an improvisational live/ DJ hybrid act. He currently hosts a regular techno/ industrial themed night called Konvektion at Contact, Tokyo together with Takaaki Itoh. After appearing in a Tokyo satellite event series New Assembly presented by Berlin Atonal in early 2017, he caught the attention of the festival directors, and made his European debut in Berlin playing Herrensauna at Tresor and Berlin Atonal 2017.

Denise Rabe released her first 12” on German imprint Mutewax in 2015. A solo EP on Arts sub label Arts Collective quickly succeeded her debut the same year, leading up to the label publishing her third release in 2017. This is also the year Denise actualized her own eponymous label Rabe.

Rabe the label, just like its founder, is all about techno. So far, three hyper modern brutalist sounding 12-inches from Denise herself has seen the light of day. Rabe’s productions are frantic yet deep industrial adventures, all carrying a hefty gothic presence. Her talent has not only caught the ears of eager fans, but also of recognized producers such as Rrose and Shxcxchcxsh, who both have contributed remixes for the artist.

Brought up on hip hop in a small German town, Denise learned to DJ at the age of 16, scratching and mixing, later diving further into electronic music via drum ‘n’ bass and jungle. From there exploring various styles of house, only to some years later finally ending up in techno territory, understanding this is where she truly belonged. Her DJ-sets are powered with the same energy as her own productions: dark minimalistic heavy-hitting eerie techno, often flirting with elements reminiscing of modern tribal- and trance.

Denise Rabe is a pragmatic grounded artist with a clear vision. Her passion for music has led her to be involved in the scene on many levels; whether it has been as a booker for Berlin venue Ipse; a radio show host for the city’s Sweatlodge channel or a club promoter for her own night HIDE and SEEK at Ipse. Denise is also one part of Lyon collective TFIF, short for The Future Is Female, which as the name hints fights for gender equality within the techno scene.

Ntogn is a techno project developed by Hypnus Records' founder Michel (b. 1988, Sweden) since early 2013. It aims to weave together modern sound design techniques with a fascination for dragons, shamanism and the occult. This has resulted in what Resident Advisor's William Lynch describes as "fierce, artistic techno that sounds like little else out there" and a discography ranging from hard repetitive deep techno to dark, throbbing ambient excursions. As a DJ-performer, meticulous care is given to harmony and progression in order to create a comprehensive and captivating journey through melodic ambience to harsher hypnotic techno currents. Over the last few years, this has earned Ntogn the recognition not only as a respected label manager and authentic producer, but also as an inspiring DJ appearing in several prominent clubs around the world such as Khidi (Tbilisi) and Elysia (Basel). His most recent 12-inch record Sathurnus: I (2017) caught a notable 4/5 review on Resident Advisor and scattered projects over the previous years include collaborations with fellow Hypnus adepts Luigi Tozzi and Feral, remix duty on Retina.IT's vinyl EP Octagon and a VA appearance alongside the Swedish techno phenomenon Shxcxchcxsh.

Finnish talent Paula Koski carved out a niche for herself with a multifaceted sound that slithers captivatingly from ambient to experimental to richly-layered, dark and hypnotic techno.

Textured soundscapes, submersive basslines and contemporary elements are in focus in Paula's unique selections, which have earned her coveted spots at venues such as Tresor, OHM and ://about blank during her high speed journey towards the top of the hypnotic techno scene.

Paula is also an Editor-in-Chief, music curator and resident artist at Monument, allowing her a kaleidoscopic, professional perspective of techno. She is ever-inspired by modern, psychedelic and dark moods, that are also the key to her mesmerising signature sound.

Ness is a dj and producer born and raised in Sardinia, acknowledged for his style over a decade of music with a background in sound engineering and many years of research and fine-tuning. He gradually developed a distinct technique with a strong focus on atmosphere combined with hypnotic rhythms. Having performed in some of the most relevant clubs and festivals around the globe, he steadily releases music and collaborates with several renowned techno labels within the scene. With experience as label manager through the years with partnership on Mono Records and The Gods Planet, he later established his spin off project label Ness Reworks in 2018. Ness music and dj set are well accepted and defined as an exploration of wide range of deep hypnotic techno and ambient soundscapes.

Kessell is the alter ego of Valentin Corujo, half of the Exium duo and Polegroup member, this is his solo project where he explores the most liquid of his sonic palette. Granulart Recordings is his new label, physical/digital label focused on the deepest side of techno with dub, classic Detroit sound and 90´s techno influences, designed both to release his own stuff as well as music from artists that fit the philosophy of the label. A label where precision and musicality occur hand in hand with the intention of creating timeless pieces, outside the passage of time, sounds you can enjoy as a delicatessen over the years.

Whether doused in the grit of his hometown Glasgow, or expanded by the widescreen vistas of his current base, Barcelona, the music of Darren Roberts has asserted it´s uniqueness within his preferred form of expression, rolling and tunneling techno, strong on propulsion and atmosphere.
Naming the project Deepbass was a strong statement of intent and commitment to a sound of his own, from the start. That he has in fact established it and remains on a path of constant perfection of it, is
indicative of Darren´s personality and talent.
This consistent path has seen Deepbass put out records on labels such as Edit Select Records, Aconito Records, Dynamic Refection and Soma, all the while enjoying a steady rise in recognition both with audience and peers. Along the way, he found in Italian producer Andrea Deplano, most widely known as Ness, a perfect foil for his vision of techno, with both collaborating on releases which displayed uncanny compatibility in sound between them. This commitment to the deeper, hypnotic side of techno is further proved by his own label, Informa Records, where releases by names like Reggy Van Oers, nAX_Acid, Claudio PRC, Takaaki Itoh, Ness, NX1, Hironori Takahashi are constant highlights for those who crave expansive and engrossing soundscapes. What stands out from his production and performances is that Deepbass creates something identifably his own, but refuses to ever be limited by it or to get comfortable repeating just one thing. Instead, he takes what´s already his own and streamlines it, sharpens it and nuances it. The origin and destination might be constant, but the path it takes and how the journey feels is ever-changing.

British-born and now Berlin-based producer and DJ Pris, has been carefully carving out an exciting and unique space for himself within the techno circuit.
Pris debuted on his own Resin imprint back in 2013. This was followed by ten expertly curated EPs from himself and others. With the move to Berlin came his debut EP on Avian, titled ‘This Heavy Heart’ in 2016. This was followed by the ‘Love, Labour, Loss’ EP on the same label later that year. Alongside this, Pris launched the more dance-floor orientated, hand stamped series ‘Unbeknown To Us’, which has seen two releases.
2017 saw Pris release ‘Faith &amp; Honour’ EP on Semantica Records. The same year, Pris released the final record on Resin, a remix EP featuring remixes from Blawan (‘Dodeca’), Shifted (‘Devil In The Detail’), Reeko (‘Reef’), and Stenny (‘Reef’). Resin has also featured releases by Skee Mask, J.Tijn, Metrist, and Perth Drug Legend.
Pris has remixed for Tadeo (‘The Cyborg’) for Non Series and reworked PactInfernal ‘Circle VIII (Fraud)’ for the Samurai Music off-shoot Horo alongside Svreca. In 2018, he remixed AWB ‘Kinetic Lullaby’ on Taapion.
2018 saw Pris release the ‘Flagrant Foul’ EP on Non Series and contribute ‘Truth’ to the Propaganda Moscow Act V EP.
In early 2019, Pris released the acclaimed ‘White Lies Cast Dark Shadows’ EP on new Madrid-based techno label, Envra.
In May 2019, Pris, activated a bold and visionary new collaborative concept, Empathy, with the innovative ‘New Babylon’ EP, released to widespread acclaim.
The follow-up EP on Empathy, ‘Sulphur City’ was released in November. 
Empathy is a mixed media project with Pris’s close friend and enigmatic house producer Deejay Astral (Steel City Dance Disc’s, Shall Not Fade, Who’s Susan) who worked alongside Pris for their previous imprint, Resin, providing art direction.
Pris’s music has been supported leading DJs including Ben UFO, Surgeon, Anastasia Kristensen, Zenker Brothers, and Mary Anne Hobbs. An in-demand performer, Pris has played at many leading venues around the world.

The Alchemical Theory project was born in 2018 from the creative union of three italian producers: Kill Acid on Space, Unclear and Øyvind (owner of Subosc Records together Kaelan). The identity of the project has been very influenced by the favorite sounds of the three artists, ranging from modular electronic sounds to much more atmospheric sounds. This project also comes from the love of mysticism, alchemy and nature. In each release they want to represent something that affects the listener's mind, reproducing a real mental journey.

Kwartz is the stage name of Mario Campos, born in Madrid in 1989 and now based in Berlin.  In late 2011 and after publishing several EP’s in different international labels, Kwartz's productions began to draw the attention of the leading names in the international scene, so in 2013 Exium released a split EP with him called Fenomen, which was his first release on vinyl.  In late 2013 Kwartz joined PoleGroup and became part of the booking roster of the label commanded by Oscar Mulero, where he began to release his works regularly. In addition to PoleGroup, his tracks have appeared in several of the most important international labels, such as 47 (Tommy Four Seven’s label), Mord Records, Semantica, Horo or Warm Up Recordings.  2016 brings the launch of his own label: Order&Devotion, where he will release those of his works which move between dark atmospheres and deep and visceral sounds, all surrounded by rhythms designed for the dance floor.  His sets could be described with three words: raw, mental and groovy, in which he pushes the dancefloor to a constantly state of tension.

Together, this is Evigt Mörker's deadly and addictive mix.

Hailing from Sweden, some initial forays into bands in his youth went hand-in-hand with an early exposure to techno. Yet it was the illegal rave scene in Stockholm that would prove to be most formative. The circuit of DJing and parties soon fed into the need to create a platform from which to work, and so the identity and label Evigt Mörker came into being in 2013. The first three releases cemented Evigt Mörker's ability to rouse melodic dynamics out of an ambient setting. Whether settling and fixating on a rhythmic pattern, or shuffling through different emotions, often these tracks would career into rapturous dancefloor pieces. It didn't take long until the formidable Semantica Records tapped him for a release, which produced the stunning EP, 'Helmet of Bones.' From this point, Evigt Mörker would come under the austere wing of Northern Electronics. Two terse yet incandescent EPs, along with a fourth release on his own label, have charged the air for his debut album, 'Krona'. Appearing on Northern Electronics, a brooding intensity defines the album, as well as a technical dexterity for carving dissonance into lush techno tools.

For those that have witnessed Evigt Mörker live or as DJ, a different side to his recorded output comes into play. Often far more forceful than his releases, there's an energetic and rhythmic power reserved for these moments. It's perhaps this versatility that's kept him in such high demand as a remixer. Taken to the other end of the spectrum, Evigt Mörker's live shows are capable of elegant ambient pieces, if holding a dancefloor down isn't the modus operandi.

Italian-born producer Dino Sabatini is an artist whose strong body of work has helped to develop his local scene, and redefine what it means to work with electronic music in the 21st century: though his sounds are completely modern, synthesized and rendered with crystal clear production, he continues to tend the deep roots of lost wisdom and mythology that have sustained human creativity for millenia. The name of his personal label Outis, for example, is taken from none other than Homer’s Odyssey (OYTIΣ, literally meaning “no one,” was the pseudonym that Odysseus used to succeed in his infamous deception of the cyclops Polyphemus). This choice of name is not just a clever title for Sabatini’s label, but is a very good indicator of his own character: working within the anonymous electric wilderness of techno, Sabatini continually goes beyond expectations by bringing the senses back into this world of automation and machines,, occasionally invoking the names of the old gods (Poseidon) or goddesses / muses (Mnemosyne) along the way. Along with the work released on the Outis label, Sabatini has been a reliable fixture on labels like Stroboscopic Artefacts, Elettronica Romana (home to several releases by his ‘Modern Heads’ duo with Gianluca Meloni), Adam X’s Sonic Groove, and Prologue. Listeners familiar with these labels’ respective approaches will understand the kind of versatility it takes to record for each one without sacrificing one’s ‘trademark’ sound in the process. In just the past few years, Sabatini has issued sonic statements characterized by sensations of pulsating darkness (2011’s Small steps EP on Sonic Groove), by intense and penetrating hypnotic effects (both the critically acclaimed Daughters of Phorcys EPs on Prologue, 2010), and of course by the cinematic full-length adventure Shaman’s Path (also on Prologue, 2012). The latter, a fully developed concept album dedicated to those musically gifted guides who take us beyond objective reality into more mysterious realms, is as diverse in its sonic details as the rainforest is in biological forms, weaving a many-colored tapestry of sound around its patient, insistent trance rhythms. Not content with even this high level of inspired eclecticism, Sabatini’s new Omonimo LP shows he is capable of sublime romance, featuring graceful collaborations with jazz pianist Antonello Salis. Speaking of collaborations, Sabatini’s quest for a world without self-imposed creative limitations has earned him an impressive number of alliances: again, the Modern Heads team has helped to expand the vocabulary of international techno, as have his production pairings and remixes involving artists such as Claudio PRC, Donato Dozzy, Giorgio Gigli, Shapednoise, Edit Select and Teste. When it’s all pieced together, Sabatini’s still evolving career is like Mircea Eliade’s description of the shaman’s music: “narrat[ing] ecstatic journeys to the sky and dangerous descents to the underworld” – and bringing back something meaningful and lasting from both.

Each artist has a special story to tell about their musicianship. Techno producer Desroi, who in every day life goes under the name Frederic Lindemann, has a relatively no-nonsense one. Observing from the outside, his production process seems to be one of tight structure and focus, holding great modernistic vision.

Desroi studied Composition at Folkwang University of Arts – parallel to his already ongoing career as a DJ, producer and label owner – having graduated in 2018. His craftsmanship combined with a more theoretical academic view gives him a distinguished position on the scene. Desroi is curious about exploring the bridges between contemporary music and techno, and he recently said he is less interested in arrangement, melodies and harmony, and much rather focuses strongly on textures, rhythms and new sounds. Listening to his compositions these quotes makes nothing but sense; Desroi’s techno is entrancing and layered but holds no unnecessary clutter. His tracks are so strictly organized and reduced that after spending some time with these stripped creations, the listener will discover something way more abstract than at first glance. Both as a live artist as well as a DJ, Desroi’s performances again focus on unsparingly and unsentimentally exposed material. Raw surface sounds and screeching futuristic signals prevail. Whereas the live-set is a concentrated form of relentless techno, the DJ-sets are a different journey; big room-oriented, but occasionally serving deeper vibes; small air pockets where one can gather energy before the next pounce.

Aside from releasing on his eponymous Desroi label, other highlights are appearances on Henning Baer’s Manhigh- and Shifted’s Avian imprints. Desroi is at the moment laying the final touches on his debut album, confirmed for release on “a well-known techno label” in 2019. Due in the first half of the year is an EP with the given title “Azara” on Spanish label Envra.

Madrid-Berlin based, Psyk (Manuel Anós), is a solid staple of the current techno scene and doesn't seem to have gone off course since his precocious artistic ascension. 

His sets in the best clubs all over the world (Fabric, Berghain, Fuse, DeSchool, Concrete…) have helped crystallize his DJ talents making him one of the most requested DJs on the circuit and an influent figure in a whole generation. 
Psyk's singularity and maturity are constantly present in his music. The versatility who characterizes his sets are also shown in his productions, from "Arcade" or "Eclipse"´s entraining feverish techno, his remix for Planetary Assault System´s track Twelve to darker and deeper cuts like Lowdown for Tresor or his Fall From Grace for Semantica. 

In 2014 his widely acclaimed debut album "Time Foundation" is released on Luke Slater’s Mote Evolver imprint and in 2016 he releases the first record ever on the label of the mighty FUSE in Belgium. 
In 2019 he released his second album "A Moment Before" on Tresor records and also one of the most played EPs of the same year "Natural Causes" this time in collaboration with the Spanish producer Reeko.

Furthermore Manuel is regularly mentioned by the likes of Oscar Mulero and Robert Hood as one of the most interesting producers in recent years.

Like a conscientious artisan, Psyk approaches his compositions with care, adding somber power and energy through subtle touches, a process which has made him the subject of constant praise from illustrious artistic figures, be it through his offerings under the patronage of emblematic figures like Luke Slater, Len Faki, DVS1, Ben Sims stronghold labels Semantica and Tresor or even through his own label Non Series under his Maan alter-ego. Since its inception in 2011, Non Series has released collaborations by strings of prominent artists, from Silent Servant to Architectural, Chevel, Blawan, Luigi Tozzi, Function and Tadeo and has established itself as a reference in the Techno scene.

By developing, refining and purifying his sets, Psyk is focusing all his efforts on the concretization of the ideas that agitate his mind.

Hailing from Okinawa, now-Tokyo-based producer IORI once cut his teeth as an assistant for David Mancuso’s revered party, The Loft, in New York City, where he learnt a meticulous sonic mentality from his audiophile mentor. This permeates his carefully-handled arrangements, which have helped make his name and define a series of spacey, atmospheric originals and remixes for proponent imprints like Phonica and Prologue to name but a few. Since his striking 2009 debut, Galaxy, which took its cue from Basic Channel and Manuel Gottsching, the Japanese producer has developed an immensely expressive dubbed-out sound in his own right. The first culmination of that is 2012’s excellent Nexus album for Bitta, a label owned by Far Eastern rising star DJ Nobu, seeing his ambient productions sit nicely with his hypnotic dance tunes.
Two year stay in Berlin in early 2010s helped IORI gain a foothold in the international stage. He has since traveled across Europe, validating his characteristic meditative techno set, which is just the tip of his huge musical iceberg that ranges from low-slung house to leftfield oddballs. Despite his return to Japan in 2015, his presence remains strongly felt through frequent European tours. 2016 saw IORI release the Cold Radiance album, where his sci-fi ambient side grew fully- fledged. For an artist that has produced immersive and spacious pieces, it was a logical continuation of his extensive career as a producer. Eschewing the club-orientated perspective, it certainly proved IORI’s expressional depth and does justice to his artistic intention, his acute ears for spellbinding details standing out in sharp relief, which raised expectations of his promising future.
