Assimilated is a DJ/producer from Tel aviv, Israel. Influenced by the most hypnotic and abstract sounds of Deep Techno and Psychedelic Trance, he started to develop his producer side in 2017.

He defines his style by long and reverberating pads, enveloping textures, minimal percussion and psychedelic sounds, combining saturated timbres, deep sound and atmospheric landscapes.

This mix features tracks by Kaspiann, Foreign Material, Luigi Tozzi, Petit Astronaute, Assimilated, Joachim Spieth, Vanta, Translate, The Alchemical Theory, and more.

For us, Nørbak is one of 'those' hidden gems... You know, when you’ve dedicated endless hours to treasure hunting and suddenly find your attention fully consumed as a track catches your ear, igniting something in your soul and proceeding to give you that ‘kid in a sweet shop’ kinda feeling! Yup, you’re with us now. Nørbak’s four-track EP, Conduction, released on Circular Limited in April 2017 and one of five EPs under his belt (also reaching Spieth’s Affin & Illegal Alien Records) was our first chance encounter with this intriguing Portuguese artist. With production fuelling the fire in his belly for the large majority of his life and his outputs doing what we like best – seductively minimal, deep, emotion and thought provoking - we couldn’t help but humour our intrigue and see if we could find out how his creative yearning is translated across to a mix. Fortunately for us, he was more than happy to oblige.

When Lego just turned 16 the Swedish duo 'The Knife' released their album 'Deep Cuts' with the track 'Pass this on' which enchanted her and brought her into the world of electronic music. Ever since she has explored the techno scene both in Sweden and worldwide, which inspired her to start doing underground raves such as Stockholm based 'Funny Bunny' and .WAV, and also later on club nights at clubs in Stockholm like 2.35:1, Södra Teatern and Slakthuset. In 2012 the will of spreading her own favorite tunes lead her into the DJ-booth. Her driving, trippy and hypnotic sets has since then taking her to festivals like Exit in Serbia and Volt in Uppsala, as well as clubs like Tresor in Berlin, Wave Athens and Pratersauna in Vienna. Lego is also one of the captains on the techno ship Parabel, handling bookings as well as being a part of the label.

His devotion into making music begins early in his life, and since then, keeps working in his studio, day after day, discovering and developing his own sound, diving into ambient and experimental techno. In 2016 releases in labels such as ‘Illegal Alien Records’ and ‘Circular Limited’, reaching the point in 2017 where he sees his  recognition going further with a split vinyl EP on ‘Affin’ and later on contributed to the label’s 10th year anniversary release with the track “Gilgamesh”, in 2018 in he releases the EP “Marah” on Dynamic Reflection, “Nura” on Faut Section and contributed to the yearly Unknown Landscapes compilation on PoleGroup. Feeling supported by some of the most respected artists in the scene, his future can only be brighter than what it is right now, with so many boundaries to achieve, discover, learn and cross.
