Se presentan aquí cuatro canciones imprescindibles y esenciales de Don José Liquidadores, cuatro episodios desgarradores sobre cómo la banda de música latinoamericana, surf, rocknroll, garage, psychobilly y spaguetti western, Don José Liquidadores, aterrizó en México y desarrolló allí su oficio con maestría, sobre cómo trató con las gentes y costumbres de aquellas tierras, y sobre lo felices que fueron antes de caer en una espiral de pasión, violencia, finales fatales, escándalo, asaltos y atropellos, muerte, desamor, despilfarro y bancarrota, amor loco y más desamor, baile desenfrenado y más asaltos, chachachá y danzón, psychorancheras con pescado fresco y carne especiada, siempre vistiendo sus mejores galas, apuestos y simpáticos, licenciados en el desorden como los viejos y antiguos conquistadores, desabrochados y dispuestos a todo, y que, como resultado final, tras tantos aconteceres, felicidades, desventuras, sucesos y episodios milagrosos, tras toda esta abundancia y confusión de hechos, consiguieron arrojar de sí mismos, de sus mismísimas entrañas y pellejos, pero al modo de un estertor inacabado e incompleto, la grabación de unas cuantas canciones que agruparon bajo el título “Yo soy Gallo dondequiera”, un magnífico espectáculo grabado el 15 de agosto de 2020 en los Calypso Studios de Madrigueras, Albacete, España, grabación en la que decidieron retomar tres canciones antiguas de sus primeros trabajos, extraídas y revisadas de los álbumes "Al fin que para morir nacimos" y "A ver a un velorio, a divertirse a un fandango", para junto a ellas, incluir el tema nuevo e inédito que da título a este trabajo, "Yo Soy Gallo Dondequiera", obra selvática y de olor a mezcal presentada oficialmente el sábado 12 de diciembre, día de celebración de la Virgen de Guadalupe, para México y el mundo, día guadalupano, día liquidador.

Don José Liquidadores son Llanos Ponce de Guadalupe a la batería y percusiones, Alberto Martínez Tenebro y Carlos Alfaro Rey del Mambo a las guitarras, Magüe Tr. en las cuerdas gordas; y junto a ellos, la colaboración especial de Fernando Roncero, "Diamantito en Plata", para el remate de percusiones alegres y sandungueras.
