Words can't describe yet another sunrise of epic proportions this time at the C.A.M.P. (Calling all Magical People) co-created gathering. Right at the beginning of my DJ set at 4:30 am on July 4th (US Independence Day) the cops showed up to try to shut the party down due to noise complaints.

I had the difficult task of keeping the decibel levels under a certain threshold, so I had to nurture a huge dance floor for the closing set of the festival until 7am somewhat quietly until we were able to ramp up the volume to proper dance floor levels.

I am not sure if it was that we all wanted this so badly, or the majestic rays of sunshine coming down upon us, all I know is that 17 encore songs & tracks after the supposedly closing "Lovely Day" song, we kept raving and raging until we almost dropped.

One of the most memorable mornings in my 21 years of DJ'ing. Here's the recording of the full 4.5 hrs of the closing sunrise DJ set. I hope it takes you all back and for those of you who weren't there I hope it brings you the sunrise  joy and magic we collectively had.

UK producer Reuben Lowe returns to 3rd Avenue with his follow-up release, the Dark Matter EP. After making his debut on the Three Of A Kind EP #32 earlier this year and contributing to Correlation Vol. 8 on Sound Avenue, Reuben has quickly become a name to watch within the label family. His first solo project, the Cosmopolitan EP released this summer, showcased his ability to craft deep, melodic journeys with both atmosphere and drive.

With Dark Matter EP, Reuben builds further on that foundation, presenting two new originals, Dark Matter and Ether. Both tracks highlight his evolving sound, combining immersive textures with a forward-thinking approach to progressive house. Life on the playa is always full of surprises.  We were programmed on Tuesday night but the bus had some technical issues and could not leave the camp.  We left a bit sad without playing on our favorite ship. 
But the robot heart team was kind enough to reprogram us on the Sunday morning .  
We were determined to make it a magical a sunrise. Enjoy this 3h set on the playa we will never forget. 
We will miss everyone deeply this year but we will all come back to the magic land and embrace every second with all of you.

Birds of Mind - Robot Heart - Burning Man 2019

Oliver Koletzki never fails to take listeners on a sonic journey, from his beginnings in hip-hop production through to house, techno, and afro-inspired electronic music. 
This organic, upbeat set was recorded at Scorpios on September 18 and is the first of a series of recorded sets from summer 2020 at Scorpios.
