Ulises squints at the horizon: “It is a mystery why we imagine what we imagine.” Between traversing the global DJ circuit and long laser-focused studio sessions in his chosen home of Berlin, Ulises casts his eye to Earth itself as he scours for a metaphor for his own philosophical uncertainties. In TOO FAR, MIRAGE one finds music and lyrics wavering on the line between elucidation and ambiguity. Dreamy pianos that sound as if they’re being played behind a waterfall, digital bongos, shiny broken drums, and another collaboration with Cesar B’s trombone are part of this musical collage. The mini-album encompasses an eclectic worldview, turning it into a salutation to unsolved mysteries and blurry lines.

Atreus is the new alias of a seasoned producer whose past work has been released on respected underground techno labels and had his tracks played at iconic clubs such as fabric, E1, FOLD, and RSO.Berlin.

Inspired by Bedouin, Hans Zimmer, and the Afro House movement, Atreus fuses cinematic depth with hypnotic grooves to craft a sound that is both emotive and powerful.

Scorpios Music is a field research endeavor probing into the synaesthetic potentiality of music, an imprint for an exploratory strain of various danceable and listenable genres, and a testimony to how — in concrete experiential terms — music is the most vigorous, meaningful, and beautiful language in the world. 

With a focus on electronic music exhibiting subtle-to-bold elements of the primeval and far-flung, Scorpios Music is the immortalization of a soundscape — that which Scorpios Mykonos has traversed since materializing as a club in 2015 throughout the process of establishing itself to near-universal acclaim as a tribal enclave of eudaimonic hedonism and the seedbed of aesthetically oriented empathetic sociality.
