'Strange Days' the debut album from one of the standout Drum & Bass acts of recent years, due for release on the legendary V Recordings on 3rd December 2021. Featuring collaborations with Serum & Makoto, as well as vocalists including Riya, A Little Sound, Cleveland Watkiss, T.R.A.C., 2Shy MC and many more.

With support already secured from the likes of Shy FX, Bryan Gee, Fabio & Grooverider, Rene LaVice, Hybrid Minds, Serum, Randall and with a growing international fanbase at their back, Paul T & Edward Oberon's new album 'Strange Days' is set to be one of 2021's defining drum & bass releases.

Their recent run of singles, including two Beatport number ones and collaborations with vocal talents like Cleveland Watkiss, MC Fats, A Little Sound & Lorna Kings have given us a flavour of this monumental project. An eclectic array of influences from jazz to jump up have been filtered through the unique musical perspective of this duo to bring us something that we've never quite heard before.

Drum & bass has the capacity to deliver, on the one hand, soulfully emotive musicality and, on the other, sheer rave-inflaming filth. Paul T & Edward Oberon, however, have consistently performed the alchemical magic of bringing together both the music and the mayhem without compromising either.

But of course they have. Paul and Edward have years of experience creating music for some of the most prestigious labels in the scene and drawing from a myriad of influences. Individually, they have credits stretching back decades, and, as a combo, they've been dusting dances around the world since 2011.

Having won an army of new-gen fans with anthems like 'Stomp', 'Look for the Light' and the absolutely huge scene smashing Serum-collab 'Moon in Your Eyes', these veteran artists have wasted no time in stepping things up to even greater heights as they gear up to drop their album.

Balancing vibes and viciousness, 'Strange Days' lays out the definitive manifesto for Paul T & Edward Oberon's dirty soul sound. Operating as both a self-contained audio journey and a collection of rave-ready deejay weapons, this LP is a piece of work that demands your attention!

From deep in the jingle, Deep In The Jungle arise from their Christmas chrysalis with their biggest album to date... 44 absolute beasts from some of their closest allies, freshest friends and long-time sparring partners. From the soaring synths and twisted drum switches of Kumarachi's "For You" to the classical rave feels of Demented Frequency's "Amens On The Nile" via absolute toxic gully from the likes of Galvatron, Didak, Veak, Redline, Epicentre, Sweet N Sikka, Conrad Subs, Martyn Nytram and the bossman DJ Hybrid himself this is a pure steel steal. Nothing short of essential.

Leaders of the new generation and purveyors of dancefloor chaos Serum, Voltage and Bladerunner return to the frontline of drum & bass with their debut, self-titled album ‘Kings Of The Rollers’. Whilst each has their own high-grade production style, these three royals have managed to create a sum greater than their parts, as they steamroll through all the rules to deliver an absolute bruiser of an LP.

Across seventeen tracks expect up-front rollers, techy 2-step beats and pure knockout D+B bangers, complemented with slick jazzy numbers and a wide variety of vocal-lead tracks. It’s safe to say they've lived up to the hype with their most dynamic and diverse release to date.

Amongst the carnage highlights include ‘You Got Me’. A towering tear-out beast ladened with thrashing amens and a thundering bassline that’s ready to push every speaker to it’s limits. Low frequency growler ‘Shella’ is peppered with steppy jungle nuances, with Mancunian dance music innovator Chimpo featuring on both production and vocals for an all-round roughneck sheller. ‘Round Here’ is a brazen jungle prowler with Bristolian lyricist Redders at the helm for a future classic anthem.

Whilst being predominantly known for their heavyweight productions and outrageous D+B screamers, the new album also showcases a variety of different flavours. Jungle roller ‘On The Run’ features the smooth spoken word of Queen Rose and ‘Tisno’ brings a warm steppy swing, inspired by their time spent at the very first Hospitality On The Beach.

Hospital’s three kings have set the scene on fire with their electrifying DJ sets and headline festival performances. Their new 'Royal Rumble' tour takes them all over the UK in 2019 with shows in London, Bristol, Brighton, Manchester and beyond.

Available worldwide on the 25th of February 2013... Hot on the heels of Capitol 1212’s swagger-packed party piece ‘Don Man Sound’, Bristol’s top rankin junglist crew Run Tingz deliver a weapon of mass destruction that’s primed for the ultimate soundclash challenges. 

Big up Aries & Gold, two of Birmingham’s most respected producers. The dust has barely settled from last year’s buzz-cut with David Boomah and Serocee on V Recordings and they’re back, firing a 25 gun badboy salute that will guarantee maximum dancefloor participation. 

‘My Sound’ will instantly trigger cake-sized grins the second the distinctive horn refrain from Sister Nancy’s ‘Bam Bam’ ripples through the speakers. Then, before any sense of familiarity sets in, Aries & Gold’s trademark razor-sharp beats ignite, as do the spitfire toasting talents of two legendary mic-monsters: Cowboy Ras Ranger and 2Nice. No strangers to soundclash culture, Ras and 2Nice go toe-to-toe with harmony and spirit, vibing off each other with both gutsy vigour and respect for the wild riddims imposed by Aries & Gold.

With two basslines and a toxic sub weaved tightly together, mirroring the duality of Ras and 2Nice, Aries & Gold’s creation fires with every inch of jungle heritage but sparkles with breath-taking contemporary production values. Throw in a series of rusty rattling breakbeats and you’ve got yourself a bona fide soundclash banger.

Remix-wise the Run Tingz Cru have stepped up to provide their own touch. Paying complete respect to the original, the groove, vibe, vocals and horn hook remain intact while a new bassline and more stripped back breakbeats make their play amidst the mix. Ten per cent less jungle, ten per cent more drum & bass, it’s the perfect complement to the applaud-worthy work of Aries & Gold.
