I stumbled upon Harry Nilsson’s Spanish version of Without You many years after falling in love with his original recording. My reaction went from "what?" to "why?!" to "alright it’s kinda tight." Even though this version was probably a thirsty major-label marketing decision to reach a broader audience, my personal saga of bewilderment turned endearment would ultimately deepen my love for the song (the original, not the Spanish version). 

So in an attempt to pay forward a memorable experience of strange discovery that I once had, I present to you 2021’s runaway success, Sunny In The Making, now sung in Japanese by a non-Japanese-speaking Japanese-American-Me. Good luck with it.

Scotch Mist is a New York-based trio known for their unique blend of rock, disco, and psychedelic sounds. Consisting of Ed (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Gianluca (bass, production), and Fern (lead guitar), the band fuses their diverse musical backgrounds to create a nostalgic yet modern sound.
