For its first release, Trancemutations Records delivers Psyfunk Morphosis, a 13 track compilation showcasing the multiple facets of hyper groovy psytrance infused with funk, compiled by @estebandesigual.

Psyfunk isn’t really a style, more like an attitude : the kind that puts groove before formulas and fun before purity. It’s messy, melodic, and full of swing. This is why this compilation feels like a ride through different energies, tempos, and worlds. Trancemutations starts right there, with a sound that transcends the psytrance rulebook. Psyfunk doesn’t fit inside subgenres, it melts them, then dances on the remains.

The original 'Picotto Mix' of this track rocked a whole generation of clubbers and inspired producers alike with its genre-busting acid-power. With Mauro's personal blessing, the mighty 'Taub' returns on Outburst with 2 of Scotland's finest tech-trance troopers Mark Sherry & Stephen Kirkwood leading the charge. Mark puts his own grizzly tech stamp all over it with tight & crispy percussion, detuned and twisted saw leads whilst retaining that all important classic distorted acidic drop. Stephen's remix is one of those special productions that would fit into a techno set every bit as easily as a trance set. His fondness for the original shines through as the groove is set to 'minimal' but the power output is set to 'maximal'. The past meets the future as this remix takes us back to the hay day of tech-trance and updates it with a summer 2017 festival vibe. Your next stop?...the Twilight Zone!

Scot Project is a fairly well-known DJ/producer from Germany, Basically the „King of Hardtrance“, whose initial success came in 1996 with the hit single "U (I Got a Feeling)“, which was recently Re-released and for Weeks in the Top 20 Techno Charts . He manifested his signature sound in the 00´s with tracks like „O (overdrive)“ or „L (Want Your Love) . 

Born Frank Zenker  is a man of many aliases, such as „Arome“, „Tocs“, „Supermusique!“, „De Zenk“ and "Scotech.   He also has a Collaboration with Scottish Dj Mark Sherry as „GENTECH“ . A good portion of his Tracks were released on German hard trance label Overdose until 2005. After he released on his own Label Druck Records and various Labels such like Positiva,Armada, Spinnin, Vandit, Outburst. 

As a Dj he travels around the globe and performed at all major  festivals worldwide such as EDC, Sensation Black, Defqon1, Dance Valley, Trance Energy, Mysteryland, Tomorrowland , Global Gathering, Love Parade, Street Parade, Homelands, Luminosity and the most high profiled clubs in the world.

Scot Project is using a lot of Elements in his productions and Dj Sets, from Trance, Techno to Harder Styles. He doesn’t like boundaries and is constantly evolving with his sound.The story continues. https://www.scotproject.eu
