Scott and Rosanna met in college in 2012 and quickly began writing music together and performing.  The pair has always loved working with kids and over the years they have grown their outreach to children through private music lessons, specialized classes, and school programs.  After the couple got married in 2017, they began arranging some classic kids’ tunes with friends and wrote their first original song for the project, ‘Left the Burgh’.  Happy Dance was initially released with only four songs, but Scott and Rosanna had a deep desire to add more original children’s songs to the collection.  And here we are!  With the addition of nine more original songs, Scott and Rosanna are so thrilled to re-releasing Happy Dance as a full length album!


It was so important for the duo to create a kid’s album that captures the silly, smart, fun sensibility of children while featuring a very high level of musicianship using no virtual instruments. The album covers a variety of musical stylings from jazz to folk, highlighting instrument solos, vocal harmonies, and well thought out arrangements.  From those get-up-and-dance moments, to moments of learning and exploring, all the way to the precious sleepy moments before bed, Happy Dance covers a diverse assortment of tunes both kids and parents will thoroughly enjoy!!
