These are some tracks that I had stored in a directory for a long time that I had ripped the samples out of to make some tunes with.

These tracks I played with a lot so they are stuck in my head. Thought I might put them up on sound cloud.

I used the Windows version of Xmplay and output the music with it's Lame mp3 encoder.

'Space Debris' (1991) by Captain/Image (Markus Kaarlonen) fused with the C64 SID remix of same by Flex of Artline Designs, and the actual remix by the original composer!  I made this mashup of them all.. for my own ears, thought maybe others might like too ^_^

Lost In Space - Future Retro [Alien Records]

Preview of the remake of the Highscore tune for the Commodore 64 videogame "Hawkeye" for the upcoming album "Tel Me More".

Composed in 1986 at age 14 and published by Thalamus in 1987. The game was developed by my friends the Boys Without Brains (BWB).

This was always one of my personal favorites and I felt it was the most accomplished short tune I composed for a C64 game.

I got reminded to remake this tune a lot in the many years passing since. When my friend and producer of many years, Joe Bonar, reminded me of it recently, I decided to drop working on all the other songs for a while and work on this one non-stop.

wh00p wh00p! After many many hours of fine tuning this one and combining all pre-prepared samples, testing so many options to the point of "the mix is almost perfect", I bring you this special update for the "Tel Me More" project. Absolutely one of my favorite "music children"... When I composed it (age 17) I was so full of inspiration I could hardly breath... And I couldn't sing it either, so I had to program it... Isn't it nice to be a "music programmer", then! =)

Light Up the Sky

This is a version of Flood of Power from Midnight Resistance, a Data East run and gun. This version uses both Nintendo MMC5 and Konami VRCVI (also known as VRC6) sound extensions, and I modeled it after the Sega Mega Drive (Genesis in the USA) version, which is superior to the arcade one. I also recorded each audio channel separately to remix them in full stereo. I hope I did justice to this awesome soundtrack.
