This is an original song that Durge started by creating a story about a musician going to an open mic night in the city to play some of his music. Nat took over the second part of the song by adding the girl musician and the chance convergence of the two musical souls. We co-crafted the final lines of the song to celebrate the lasting value of such chance meetings and events.

Everything can have drama but only if it is done right.....

WHY IS IT CALLED A PERFECT FIFTH?
The term “perfect” is used to describe the following intervals:

unison,
fourth,
fifth,
octave.
This dates back to medieval times where these intervals were thought of as the most “consonant” and so were named perfect.
The perfect 5th and the perfect 4th are closely related in terms of harmony as the inversion of a perfect 5th is a perfect 4th – e.g. if you invert the interval C-G it becomes G-C (perfect 4th)

Perfect 5th In A Minor Orchestral

When I sent Mike Fox the acoustic track never did I think in my wildest dreams that he would produce such a mix  of sounds.
The brief was a modern pop track in the realm of Louis Capaldi / Ed Sheeran that sort of thing.
And what I got was an amazing piece of nostalgia 70s Chic  v 80s club which I actually bloody loved.
Just shows that it’s best to trust the process and let these outstanding musicians/producers do their thing . 
It’s such fun collaborating with different people and listening to their different take on things.
Mike is an excellent songwriter himself and you can always pick the earworm in his work.
Big thanks to Mike he was a pleasure to work with and a real gentleman.
I hope you enjoy it guys as much as we did making it.

My new track 'Pietà Waltz'. A soft, gentle folk track that I made entirely by myself. My music lately has been leaning a little softer than usual. I am learning that minimal production can heighten the melancholic emotion of a song. It is easy to hide behind heavy production but on this track, I wanted to let the simple melody come through. Every aspect of this song was recorded by myself aside from the drums. I hope you enjoy!
