Great story tune beautiful guitar playing!  I saw your comment below...my wife's grandfather fled Aguascalientes in the 19teens during the Cristeros revolt (after allegedly killing someone).

So good.  To write this type song, you have to be able to play this style guitar, I think.  Also, your sense of history is apparent in many of your songs, & adds so much to the flavor.

This song is about a simple guy trying to attract girls  during the Mexican Revolution.  I started to write about an armadillo doomed to  become the body of a musical instrument but this song came out instead.

I definitely had to include this song on my cover album. An all-time classic written by Ben. E. King - this song has withstood the test of time and has been recorded by over 700 artists. When Mr. King passed away in April 2015 he was survived by his wife of 51 years. I wonder how many times he thought of her when he was performing this song - ‘cause to the very end he stood by her and she stood by him.
