Evil Nine are an English DJ/Producer duo comprising of members Tom Beaufoy and Patrick Pardy. Gaining recognition after signing to Adam Freelands label Marine Parade in the early 2000's their unique sound gathered a high following worldwide and had a very influential effect in the early Nuskool Breaks scene. Blending breaks with 4 on the floor the guys were the instigators of the very early tech funk sound held in high regard from such acts as Elite Force and Meat Katie.

This mix was recorded LIVE at A38 (which was in Prague?) back in 2008.

Released through Sm:)e Communications in 1996 and featuring DJ Scott Henry of Washington, DC's infamous Buzzlife crew, the promoters of the equally-infamous Buzz night at Nation (called Capital Ballroom at the time this was released). It ranges from breaks, to house, to uk hardcore to trance. All tracks are from sm:)e records except for the last track by Fade (who later did release some work on the label). This mix further cemented Scott Henry's influence in the US rave scene.
