Case example and mockup - music based on the end credit theme to "American Horror Story".  I did not write the original theme but I did recreate the song myself for educational purposes only.

I often will use other works as a blueprint and inspiration to record.  I'm showing this as merely an example of how my ear works and what I'm capable of recreating in such a short period of time.  This took me less than a couple hours to complete.

Written on September 12, 2001, this song is in honor of the victims of 9/11. Aside from playing it in my house a couple of times, the song was filed away and untouched for 14 years, more or less forgotten. When I woke up on September 11, 2015 the song popped into my head out of nowhere. I dug out the lyric sheet and decided to record it.
