Top ten hit song in December 2013 in Holland with the song 'Hoo Hoo Christmas' sung by 'Byentl'. The same song is called 'Once Upon A Christmas' in the UK. Many artists have cut his songs in the past 3 years and more are set for release in the coming months.
His current project is the new musical ‘Taking Care of Business’, or TCB for short. 
Taking Care of Business is set in Edinburgh, in the year 1947. The music and drama all take place in a jazz club called ‘TCB’s’. 
When he's not songwriting he arranges for other artists and has recently been project 
Tutor for Scotland's national body for developing and promoting songwriting he recently led the national songwriting competition called 'Dumb Ways To Think'. Following a government initiative to highlight the problems caused by sectarianism, and funded through the VAF and Burnsong he set up the the competition. 
Born in Scotland to an Italian mother & Scot’s father. He has successfully led his own band for many years, and it was a natural progression to start writing about the many characters he met and the stories he heard.

Lots of warm hearted people with impeccable taste have spoken generously about Fraser and his music over the years. The legendary Bob Harris from BBC Radio said, “We should be shouting about this from the rooftops, it’s truly beautiful”.

Even the late grate Chuck Berry was a fan. Fraser joined Chuck on part of a European tour in which he opened solo each night.

One evening on stage in Brussels in a sold out Cirque Royal, the Rock n Roll icon turned to face Fraser, smiled cheekily and began doing his ‘duck walk’ towards him but lost his balance (he was 82 at the time) and began to fall over so the two grabbed hold of each other.

Fraser recalls that as being a “beautiful memory that I cherish”.

Some have likened Fraser Anderson to Damien Rice, Nick Drake and John Martyn.

All of these comparisons are taken by Fraser as hand on heart compliments as he is a huge fan of all three.

His straight down the line easy going nature. His desire for human connection and his dry Scottish humour between songs are a rare combination that see him regularly touch all bases. Audiences have described live performances as deeply moving and uplifting, and for some “the best gig” they have ever been to.

A sophisticated artist who describes himself as “a simple man just trying to understand people and things”. His musical tales of human vulnerability take folk music to a level that is cinematic in both reach and vision. He’s a taste-maker with a crooner-like ease of style, his passion for design and cinematography seep into and out of his music, making him an exciting unique artist.
