Home studio musician(with a day job as a software developer).    I play guitar primarily, but also various stringed instruments including mandolin, mountain dulcimer, lute, and  bass.  In addition I sing, play piano, keyboards, and some percussion.  I write my own music.   Some are more studio experimentation that develop in to songs, others are actually composed more on paper and I have sheet music and chord progressions I come up with first.   While I program some drums, I also use drum loops and play real drums sometimes.   Recent compositions have help from my friend Heidi on drums.
