Five Minute Mega Man (Demo)

I'm a visual artist and creative director based in Chicago with a love of the absurd which includes writing and producing (absurd) songs.  Most of my songs lean into concept album form so I can let the story of the album drive the direction of the songs and what they want to be in relation to the other tracks on the album.  In that sense it becomes more like assembling a puzzle than trying to sit down and write something meaningful that’s already been said by someone else a million times before.  In as much, while I usually lean into some form of rock I love exploring a lot of genres to see if I can put my own spin on them and laugh at myself in the process.  My major influences (while WAY too many to list) are all over the place.  A venn diagram of my favorite universally known artists might look like Deadmau5 to Pink Floyd, DJ Shadow to AC/DC, Beastie Boys to Slayer, QOTSA to Chemical Brothers, and of course with King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard (my unhealthy obsession for a number of years now) sitting square in the middle.
