Here we have the opening set recorded live from our 'End of Summer Day & Night Terrace Party' at Mint Warehouse on Saturday 25th August 2018. 
Kicking off 12 hours of non-stop fun and frolics and making their UpYerRonson debut were Good2Groove, who, with their quality mix of Nu Disco, Edits and House music, have been building a solid following in and around their stomping ground of Halifax for many years.  
Myself and Marshall played alongside them at a new night they've curated in Sowerby Bridge called 'TheGetUp' and were blown away by their music selection and ability to fill an empty dance floor without having to play one single banger...a skill that is sadly becoming a lost art form in todays nu breed of DJs/Producers who are merited on their studio skills first and foremost over their DJ talent.

So sit back and enjoy this masterclass in building a nights foundations from the very first block....! x

This week's Traxsource LIVE! features one of Scotland's favorite DJs and Producers Kevin McKay. He started his career producing records in the early 90s. His early work as Muzique Tropique found favour with DJs as varied as Andy Weatherall, Dubfire, Roger Sanchez and Danny Tenaglia. In 1997 he set up the Glasgow Underground label, which would become a home to DJs including the likes of Claptone, Gerd, Dixon, Nice7, Alaia & Gallo, Dennis Cruz and many more!
