I've always loved Buddy Holly! I feel he influenced so many bands. This original song is a call back to the "simple" "country rock a billy" sound that he made so famous!

This is a song I wrote about my daughter Emma. She brings out my softer side and inspires me to write songs with a more positive and uplifting message. Sheltering in place, quarantining, and spending time with loved ones brings out a new perspective ... and hopefully songs with deeper meaning. The photo is from an incredibly peaceful and happy day many moons ago...

I'm Scott Christy from Detroit. I am adding new songs every month. Here's a little background on me.....I am a singer songwriter/producer and have been In and out of bands since junior high school. First label deal with Elektra records out of high school with "The Heart Throbs". The Heartthrobs toured with the Romantics and were booked by DMA in Detroit and played shows with the Ramones, Straycats, Eurythmics, Joan Jett, Modern English, The Tubes and many more. Founding member and guitarist with SKeleton Crew who also released an album (Prehistoric dig) with Intersound records. Star Search semi-finalist with Skeleton Crew (bested destiny's child) and won several Detroit Music Awards. Skeleton Crew opened for many national bands including Eddie Money, Foreigner, Robert Palmer, Kenny Loggins, Tesla etc. Also had 3 songs on the "X-mas in Detroit" compilations released by Harmony Park studios. Founded and produced Detroit hard rock band Ballz Deluxe. Ballz has released 4 albums, toured and shared the stage with many bands including Tantric, Saliva, Pop Evil, Rev Theory, Sponge etc. Several song placements in movies. Always looking to network and place songs or commercial music!
