Late night, so I won't be verbose. This week's Disquiet junto assignment was to write something in 5/4 that doesn't sound like Take Five. I thought I'd experiment with a couple of ideas, one being a clave over 5/4 (which I guess is very much a thing), and, in the B section, a pattern that goes over the barline of 2+6+2. Threw together some ideas and came up with a very short track that hopefully grooves!

Something´s been sucking the life out of people. This leech has no teeth, doesn´t "look" scary, looks respectable and likeable... I may even have a laugh with it! 
That is, if I wasn´t going to tear its house down. 

Problem is, this is not just a matter of bullets & mortars: the Queen may have a way in, but the Queen is not in daylight, you find her On the Fringes.

The root chakra, or Muladhara, is the first of the seven main energy centers in the body.
