Project Butterfly, a visionary artist from Germany- residing in the United States, exemplifies the transformative power of creativity and perseverance. As a producer, composer, vocalist, lyricist, multi-instrumentalist, disabled artist and advocate, her journey is a testament to resilience, innovation, and a positive mindset. Project Butterfly with 45 years in the music industry and more than two decades as an international DJ and producer, Project Butterfly is recognized as a pioneer in electronic music. Known for her genre-fluid style, immersive performances, and boundary-pushing artistry, she has built a legacy rooted in sonic exploration and cultural impact.

Her musical path began in the world of fashion modeling, where she first encountered electronic music. By age fifteen, she was captivated by the underground scene’s raw, experimental energy, particularly the echoing tunnels where she began mixing vinyl. Naturally drawn to the underground—where sincerity, creative freedom, and innovation take precedence.  Influenced by a wide spectrum of auditory styles, she studied music production and honed her skills—transitioning from tunnel sessions to global club stages.

In addition to her electronic music career, she is a skilled vocalist, pianist, keyboardist, guitarist, and songwriter having collaborated with numerous bands. As a passionate songwriter, Project Butterfly’s music has been performed by several well-known artists. Her guitar teacher is a former member of' Blood, Sweat & Tears 'and vocal coaching came from an eclectic spectrum of professionals—shaping her rich, expressive sound. While her heart beats to electronic rhythms, she holds a deep love for rock and blues, which continues to influence her artistry.Behind the scenes, she has thrived as a booking agent, promoter, A&R representative, and executive producer—solidifying her as a powerhouse both on and off stage. 

After completing her Doctor of Liberal Arts in Music, Project Butterfly adopted her current moniker and signed with her first label in 2022. Since then, she’s consistently released innovative music that blends emotion, rhythm, and unforgettable sound design—leaving a lasting impression on listeners around the world. Project Butterfly released her debut album, 'Skittles', in January 2024.


Empowered by her passion and resilience, Project Butterfly continues to break boundaries, defy genres, and inspire positive change through her remarkable music and unwavering commitment to empowering others.
