Wow! It was such a joy and honour to start off my birthday week by DJing for the legendary Sunday morning Ecstatic Dance at the Yoga Barn! 💃🏼

I love this dance so much. I've been dancing here myself most Sundays for the last 5 years, and it's always so much fun to get on the other side of the decks and share my magic with this epic community. 🔥

And we raised 6 million IDR for PKP Bali. An amazing local charity that supports Balinese people in need. ❤️

At Kalani, the birthplace of the modern ecstatic dance movement that has rippled out across the world, we opened with an invocation that was an ode to sound.  I offered live vocals & layered textures. Adele brought soul-stirring violin melodies. Creative Frequencies enveloped the space with crystal bowls & gongs.  From this live, improvised blessing, the journey opened into an ecstatic wave before returning to stillness in a spacious closing sound healing by Creative Frequencies, handpan by Laura & subtle vocal tones by Kirt.

This set has an extra long downtempo opening as I wanted to slowly draw people out of their camping areas to the outdoor dance floor. 

Special thanks to all those people who helped make this event happen, especially Billy Marritt, and to those friends who came to celebrate my 48th birthday with me and my parents. They got to see me dj live for the 2nd time in my life, and it was a special moment for me to have them there.
