HoxV-1: Various Artists - ECDYSIS / 5 years of Amniote Editions (Remix Compilation)

Celebrating the sonic history of the label as part of the anniversary. Artists who have contributed to capsules throughout the five years of the project were invited to dig into the entire back catalog of releases and create their own unique take. The result is a beautifully diverse 12-track compilation that reinvents tracks, spanning from the first capsule that launched the label to the joint fundraiser compilations with Ute Records to the recent collaboration with the Berlin-based collective Mala Junta.

Amniote Editions celebrates five years of pushing electronic boundaries with HoxV-2: Spekki Webu x Heliobolus - Phylogenetic Analysis, the debut LP from long-time collaborator Spekki Webu, under his alternate moniker, Heliobolus. This 11-track project reflects a year of immersive studio experimentation, blending cinematic soundscapes with forward-thinking techno. Spekki describes the album as “a journey of intertwined storylines, akin to parallel universes that connect and diverge,” setting the stage for an evocative exploration of sound and narrative.
