Bootleg del magnifico concierto que ofreció Sade en el Festival de Jazz de Montreux en 1984. Ese mismo año la banda liderada por la sensual Sade Adu lanzaban su primer álbum llamado Diamond Life que fue toda una revelación dentro del R&B el Smooth-jazz o el Jazz de aquella época. Los organizadores del Montreux no se equivocaron al invitar al evento a la banda Sade, dado que realizaron el mejor concierto que un servidor ha podido ver y escuchar de los que han realizado hasta la fecha.

El concierto comienza con Why Can't We Live Together un tema bastante suave pero con unas subidas y bajadas de voz de Sade Adu increíbles, el segundo tema es Your Love Is King que probablemente sea la mejor canción de la banda y se nota que gusta porque el público grita al comienzo de acto. En tercer lugar tenemos Hang On to Your Love un tema con un groove magnifico y que la banda se encarga de aumentar su calidad aun más en directo, seguido de este corte nos topamos con Sally un tema muy triste y melancólico, mucha atención al Saxo del señor Stuart Colin Matthewman dentro de este corte y en el resto del concierto.

En quinto lugar tenemos When Am I Going to Make a Living otro temazO muy meloso con la voz de Sade Adu, en sexto lugar topamos con I Will Be Your Friend un tema un poco más movido pero que mantiene el ambiente creado dentro del festival Montreux, en séptimo lugar aparece Cherry Pie un track muy Funky y que parece de películas de mafiosos. En octavo lugar otro temazO llamado Frankie's First Affair con un ritmo muy especial y con la banda ya crecida dentro del concierto. En novena posición tenemos la que posiblemente sea su canción insignia, hablo de Smooth Operator y que en esta ocasión la reconstruyen a ritmo de Jazz o Smooth-jazz, Sade Adu en este corte te lleva al paraíso, con esa voz hummmm y junto al Saxo de Stuart Colin Matthewman hacen que este tema sea algo muy grande.

Para cerrar el concierto lo hacen supuestamente con Love Affair with Life, que es como se llama el Bootleg en si, que hace unos días pude ver en Youtube el directo en vídeo y hay un tema para el cierre del concierto que no sale dentro del Bootleg y se llama Snake Bite, es realmente la despedida del grupo del festival de Montreux. Sade Adu va presentando uno a uno a los integrantes de la banda a medida que van tocando sin parar a ritmo de Jazz y la verdad que se lucen, tanto Stuart Colin Matthewman al Saxo, como Paul Spencer Denman en el bajo. Un concierto para tener muy presente aunque hayan pasado los años.
