A little bit of driving melodic and uplifting trance. Just some ideas thrown together but it sounded alright.

Southern Sons - Untitled

Began work on one of my new singles today. So far so good. Really happy with the basslines and the atmosphere. Going to keep this track fairly underground and non-commercial - nothing too obvious massive, just a nice, constant, serious trance sound that builds tension through out. Hope you like it so far!

Greetings and welcome back. It is a showcase special today. In part 1 Philip starts us off with a tribute mix to UK based label Verse Recordings. Due to the tragic death of label owner Magdalen Silvestra in 2022 the label has since stopped releasing trance music and has closed. Their many wonderful orchestral trance releases can still be purchased online. 

In part 2 Kaori showcases her selection of tracks from Japanese label Rock River Records. It supports not only Uplifting Trance but Progressive House also. Owned by the trio Kanata.t, Zooya and Kita-Kei the label is home to some of the best names in Japanese Uplifting Trance.

Here's a work in progress. It's a full tune, however there's some arrangement and composition elements I'm not happy with. Would love your feedback. It's meant to have generally melodic yet dark and brooding tone to it. The breakdown is meant to feel simple and emotive, without being too forced or overly fluffy.
