Day 4: Openness

Today's theme was not-as-often used intervals in a specific direction. I  chose the descending major 7th as my interval for melodic inspiration.

21 Days of VGM - Day 4

My most messed up track so far. So one is super weird and hard to listen to.
I used Cinecamples' Ancient Bones library that has a bunch of atonal crazy instruments like - the Death Whistle, the Trident Shell and the Femur Trumpet.

The challenge of the day:
Something Strange & Wonderful: Write a melody using an instrument you’ve never used before whose name you aren’t even 100% sure how to pronounce. Did you know there’s an instrument called a “Crwth?” Those 11th-century Welsh musicians really knew how to rock. Good look finding a sample library with THAT included.

I have decided to make it a bit more interesting for myself:
* Every day I would need to compose in a different key
* Every day I would need to use a different library and ONLY that library

I was short on time for Day 6, so I wrote a quick, fun chiptune-jazz fusion track. It starts off as what could be a goofy battle theme, but mellows out by the end.
