It started with a tremble, like rain unsure it wants to fall,
A weight behind my eyes that never made the call.
The world kept asking for fire,
But all I had was static and a flicker of desire.

Paula whispered, “It’s okay to not be brave,”
While I stared down shadows I couldn't save.
My hands don’t glow. My feet still drag.
But inside, something sparked — soft as a tag.
You remember that, right? When names still meant home?

Now the tears come sharp, like glass that sings,
Each memory swings like it’s pulling strings.
I held that bat like it could block the storm,
But this grief? It shapeshifts, soft and warm.

I wanted to break. I wanted to scream.
But PSI won’t cast if the heart can’t dream.
So I stitched the spell from what I had:
Half a smile, one broken pad,
And the hum of something not quite sad.

Then came the push — not force, but flood,
The kind that knocks but leaves you stood.
A voice inside said, “This is yours. Let it hurt.”
So I carved each tear into ancient dirt.

And when I cast, the room got still.
Not rage, not fire, but unfiltered will.
No flash, no flame — just light that bent,
And the scent of everything you meant.
That was PSI: Cry, but this… this is lament.

PSI: Melancholy.
Ω tier.
Casts once per soul.
Never forgotten.
Always near.

Paula said, “Next time, I’m casting PSI: Hug.”
Ness said, “Is that Omega tier yet?”

Jeff from the back: “Please cry responsibly. Circuits were fried last time.”

Poo, eyes closed: “Water nourishes. Even fire.”

PSI: Melancholy

Mr. Saturn tilted his head and said,
“Boing. Language lesson begin.
Soup is love. Socks are proof.
Okay? Okay.”

Then he tooted his kazoo.
That meant it was time to sing.

“What is hug if you stand on spoon?”
Mr. Saturn asked under the moon.
Ness said, “Uh… love?”
“WRONG!” he beamed. “Hug is boing when socks are moon!”

Paula smiled, “I think he means… be kind for no reason.”
Jeff rubbed his temple. “Or it’s kinetic cohesion.”
Poo just nodded. “This is Mu, but loud.”
And Saturn did a spin that made everyone proud.

Boing means yes!
Zoom means maybe!
Ding means soup — but only if gravy!
Clunk means ‘you are seen,’
And Blip means hug machine!
Say it now, loud and loony:
“Boing, zoom, ding — you are my spoony!”

Mr. Saturn brought tea in a crayon cup,
Declared, “This is dream. Never give up.”
He gave Ness socks with different toes,
“Boing,” he said, “You are many. And it shows.”

He drew a heart in the steam with soup,
Then ran in a circle and yelled, “Friend group!”
Paula laughed till her eyes grew wide,
And Ness whispered, “I feel okay inside.”

Paula sat down, warmed by the firelight.
“I think he says ‘I love you’ with socks.”
Jeff replied, “Or soup.”
Poo looked up at the stars.
“No — I think he means it without meaning it.
Which is the truest way.”

Ness watched the smoke curl like ribbon.

“Boing,” he said softly.
“Means you stayed. Even when you could’ve gone.”

Boing... zoom... ding...
Clunk... blip... sing...
Fuzzy socks and soup at night,
You're still here — and that’s all right.
Say it once, say it true,
Boing... I love you.

Mister Saturn’s Tiny Anthem

Apple Kid sat in his pile of cords,
Said, “Destiny faxed me at quarter to four.”
“I was eating a sandwich. It was pretty alright.
Then the printer screamed — and I forgot to bite.”

He pulled out a board with wires and dreams,
Said, “Orange Kid codes fonts. I code themes.”
“His robot sings. Mine cries in hex.
Mine tells you what happens when you push past next.”

The Apple said I’d win, it lit up green,
But it skipped the part where I lose my team.
It told the truth — just not the whole.
Success don’t fit a human soul.
I pressed start. I skipped the rest.
The log said ‘victory,’ but I failed the test.

Paula left a ribbon on my monitor stand,
Didn’t say much. She didn’t need to, man.
Ness said, “You okay?” I said, “I saw the end.”
“Want a sandwich? It’s cold, but it’s still a friend.”

Jeff rebuilt my toaster just for fun,
Then handed me goggles and said, “Don’t run.”
Poo just stared and smiled like stone.
Said, “In Mu, we count our breath, not bone.”

“boot sector unstable... parallel soul detected...”
“timeline: inconsistent...
identity: N355... BLUE...”

Apple Kid blinked.

“That wasn’t my code.”
“That wasn’t supposed to load.”
“I just wanted to build a friend.”

Then the screen lit up — bone-white grin.
The rhythm stuttered. The lights went dim.
Ness turned his head but said no words.
In the static:

“you’re gonna have a bad time.”

The Apple said I’d win. That part was true.
But it didn’t mention what I'd lose.
The future’s bright. The path is clear.
And nothing makes sense when you’re almost here.
I built the bridge. I read the map.
I left my heart inside the gap.

“Save file corrupted.
Timeline diverged.
Sandwich 67% eaten.

Outcome: correct.
Joy: not found.

Rebooting…”

We were crying by the tunnel, holding on real tight,
Paula said, “Just five minutes without a fight.”
Poo lit incense, Jeff fixed a strap,
I said, “This moment matters.”
Then we heard the clap.

He dropped from the sky with a cheesy grin,
Said, “Say fuzz and staaand on your shin!”
The light went off, the world went blank,
He flew away.
We barely blinked.

He’s got perfect timing for emotional breaks,
A ghost with a lens and zero stakes.
Always smiling, never stays —
Leaves before we’ve said what we needed to say.

I blink, you flash — you never ask if I’m okay,
You frame my pain like it’s part of a play.
You don’t get names, just angles and light,
But I live in the shadows after you take flight.
So don’t talk to the photographer —
He don’t know what it means to stay.

Jeff once tried to map his path — said it broke the map.
Poo meditated mid-flash, gave him a slap.
Paula asked his name. He said “Doug!”
Then vanished again in a fog of bugs.

I yelled, “What film is that?!” He said “Emotion 400!”
I said, “Bro, that ISO don’t exist!”
He winked.
“Exactly.”

Caught in the act of trying to heal,
And now it’s frozen like a highlight reel.
I don’t smile, I don’t pose —
But you catch me anyway, I suppose.

I blink, you flash — you never ask if I’m okay,
You capture the hurt like it’s part of the day.
You don’t wait long, just click and go,
But I carry the weight of what you’ll never know.
So don’t talk to the photographer —
He’s not here to see me stay.

Back home, there’s a picture on my fridge,
From that day at the river near the broken bridge.
We look so alive, you’d never guess
How scared we were beneath the mess.

I laughed when I saw it — then looked again.
He caught something true.

Poo folded his arms, eyes closed on cue —
Said, “This smells like fear in a velvet shoe.”

Pressed the button marked “freedom” — got redirected.
Pressed “hope” — it said, “connection rejected.”
Pressed “rooftop garden” — it laughed in French.
Welcome to the ride. It’s got vibes and stench.

This ride don’t stop, it loops in style,
They pump that jazz to make you smile.
Forty-seven’s got no end,
Just coffee, mirrors, and pretend.
Monotoli knows how to blend
Your boredom with a dividend.

Lobby’s got ficus trees and ambient screens,
Says “You’re valued.” Means “You’re routine.”
Paula asked, “Is this marble or sin?”
Jeff whispered, “They updated the spin.”

An HR bot offered “meaningful lunch.”
Poo declined with a Mu-style crunch.
Ness stared at his shoes, then up at the brass —
Said, “It’s funny how ceilings grow out of the past.”

Pressed “career,” and the music swelled.
Pressed “exit,” but the lobby rebelled.
Pressed “peace,” and the lights turned blue.
This is success — in a brand-new hue.

This ride don’t stop, it loops in style,
They pump that jazz to make you smile.
Floor forty-seven never ends,
But they’ll invoice you for the bends.
Monotoli said, “You’re doing great.”
Then installed a glass ceiling… in space.

Paula laughed, “I sent a resume on a napkin.”
Jeff said, “They offered me a job in abstraction.”
Ness checked his bat. Still legal. Just barely.
Poo said, “I think we reached the floor spiritually.”

Lobby smells like ambition reheated,
We passed Floor 1. No one greeted.
A guy in a tie said, “You look familiar.”
Ness said, “Yeah, I used to be a mirror.”

Floor forty-seven.
Again.

Monotoli Elevator Jams

Signs say “JOY” but the font feels scared,
Pastel pain in the window glare.
They shake my hand like a script they learned,
While blue torches flicker and the sky don't turn.

One guy said, “Brother, your aura’s pale!”
Offered me paint from a holy pail.
The preacher grinned with his pixel jaw,
Said, “You’ll feel better once you forget what you saw.”

Next day I woke with a mushroom crown,
Thoughts rerouted, upside down.
My name came out in a sing-song jingle,
And fear showed up in a cheery jingle.

Paula walked backward, said “Something's off.”
I nodded — then forgot how to cough.
We smiled like puppets in a shop display,
Bought our groceries in enforced ballet.

“Blue blue bright!” the children screamed,
While painting fences in their dreams.
A mailbox said “Good morning, grief!”
So I mailed it back my disbelief.

Paula cracked first — ripped her robe,
Said “I’ve cried better colors on a bathroom floor.”
She smeared brown dirt on the preacher’s grin,
Said, “This is what truth looks like in skin.”

I took my bat and it bent like foam,
The cult leader laughed from a golden dome.
So I hit the sign that read “NO PAIN,”
And it shattered like fake windowpane.

Someone said, “Blue is the future!”
I said, “Nah. Blue’s a filter.”
Poo’s voice echoed like a bell in rust:
“You cannot control what you dare not trust.”

We burned the maps. The sky blinked red.
The vocoder loop stuttered and bled.
Blue chants failed, became static spit,
And a thousand painted smiles just quit.

We ran uphill ‘til the color dropped,
Until the trees looked wrong — then stopped.
Paula laughed, “The stars are back.”
I said, “Yeah. So am I.”
And we didn’t look back.

They told me paint it blue.
So I painted my grief.
And it peeled off like sky
when the clouds finally spoke.

[REDUX STORY]

Origin Summary:
A year after Kendl's unexpected and mysterious death, Carl Johnson, finds himself having collapsed and awoken, teleported, to the land of Hyrule.

This takes place just after having collapsed from experiencing loss of muscle control. This had become a reoccurring event thought to had been caused by what appeared to be a brain hemorrhage.

Before awaking in Hyrule. Carl had spiraled into a depression after suffering through medical debilitation, having lost both his sister, years prior with no answers to her death and now his mother just a month before awaking in Hyrule.

After awaking in Hyrule he wonders the fields for mere minutes before witnessing a child named Malon who is being chased by a Peahat. Carl, reminded of his lost sister, saves Malon and in return, she houses him.

In this universe's Hyrule there's some clear differences... Such as the fact that Malon was born 10 years earlier than Zelda's birth. So Zelda doesn't exist yet. Ganondorf is also still ruling over the Gerudo and is not in direct communication with the King of Hyrule. 

Malon's mother died during birth, Talon died when Malon was 3, Ingo, who was given the dominion to the estate until Malon reached adulthood, neglects her and abandoned both Malon and the farm just months ago after a horse-riding accident leaves his lower body paralyzed.


Carl and Malon form a bond as they survive Hyrule farming life as well as the mystery surrounding the "Multi-versal displacements" happening across Hyrule, in which in-animate objects, people, monsters and so on are being transported and displaced to Hyrule. 

What else awaits them as they solve this mystery?

Can these two, a displaced traveler and a homegrown farmer find the source of this multiverse threat?

What will become of Carl Johnson, Malon, The Multiverse Displacees and onward?

What really happened to Kendyl Johnson?
