WaterTower Music, Warner Bros.' in-house music label, was launched in January 2010 as a reimagining and rebranding of New Line Records to create music assets as diverse as the films, television shows and interactive games they support. 

Housed on the Burbank lot, in the offices occupied by Warner Bros. Records during its heyday in the 1960s, the WaterTower Music team works to discover the most compelling music possible to broaden consumers' awareness of a brand or project on a visceral level. They believe the right music can engage a consumer's imagination in an entirely different way than a commercial or billboard. A truly successful soundtrack is one that inspires fans to invest both in the music itself and in the film, television or interactive content on which it's based. 

Each project requires involvement, creative input and collaboration between music supervisors, composers, directors, producers, musicians and the WaterTower team. Being located on the lot in Burbank allows the team to easily and efficiently communicate with colleagues across any Warner Bros. division. 

From comedies to dramas, action adventures and everything in between, the talented and resourceful team at WaterTower Music helps make sure that Warner Bros.' projects sound as good as they look.

The Hype
 
We don’t know why we are here, but we do know how we are here.
 
Imperial Leisure wants you to have fun, it wants you to party, it wants you to let loose while simultaneously connecting. How you choose to live your life is entirely up to you and hopefully like the most of us, you have that opportunity.
 
Imperial Leisure will take how you live and for the duration of this set make it better. We want your body, your sweat, we want to cover you in champagne, we want to give you everything you’ve ever dreamed of. To be fair, we may not achieve that for you, but maybe, just maybe, you’ll wake up tomorrow and you might feel a little bit of that dream resonating, signaling the possibilities of something special happening down the line.
 
So how about the music? Imperial Leisure have been releasing albums since 2008: The Art of Saying Nothing 2008; Death To The One Trick Pony 2012; Lifestyle Brand 2015; Through The Mountain 2022. Some people liked it, some loved it, some hated it but that doesn’t matter right now, the music doesn’t matter, you matter, you matter to us deeply and we want you to be ok.
 
We do ska but you don’t have to like it, we do rock and roll but you don’t have to like it, we do hip hop you don’t have to like it, we will party and you don’t have to like that either, what we want is for you to like yourself, for you to love yourself so much that you don’t give a dam anymore and you’re having a good time.
 
 
The Back Story
 
In 2004, Imperial Leisure signed to the live music agent ‘Primary Talent’ and to the band management ‘Crucible Management’. Their first release was the CD EP ‘Untouchable’ on Dirty Records in 2005. The next release was a limited-edition vinyl ‘Great British Summertime’ and single ‘Man On The Street’ on ORG Records.
 
In 2007, Imperial Leisure and their management company set up their own record label and music company, Steamroller Music Ltd. Employing other industry professionals and securing private investment for the support of the forthcoming release of their début album.
 
In 2008 they released four singles with national and local radio play, including BBC Radio One, BBC 6 Music, XFM, Absolute Radio. During this year, Imperial Leisure also played many festivals across the UK including the Dance Stage at Glastonbury and the Red Bull stage at Bestival. 
‘The Art Of Saying Nothing’ was Imperial Leisure's first album released on Steamroller Music, with the album launching to a sold-out event at the Scala London.
 
The Front Story
 
Since the following years of more releases, parties, gigs and festivals, Imperial Leisure have become an inhouse band for a selection of independent and major festivals such as The Little Orchard, Boomtown Fair, Secret Garden Party and 2000 Trees.
 
Born from school friendships and humble beginnings, the London party band Imperial Leisure have continued to build from strength to strength. Using the influences from around the world, to evolve their style around the reputation for delivering fun and high energy live performances. With the latest release ‘Through the Mountain’ now streaming world-wide, we would like to announce, once again, as we have many times before, Imperial Leisure are Back On Tour.
