Aiming to play with the creativity, versatility and grace of relatively unsung studio greats like Roger Hawkins, Gene Chrisman, Garry Mallaber, Bernard Purdie and Hal Blaine, who have played on hundreds of hit songs.

Not trying to copy them, but rather to come up with parts that fit a songwriter's vision and hopefully add to it.

The Lovely Outlaws are a pop-powered country trio from Long Beach, CA. Formed as a homegrown group of three coworkers and friends, these girls have gone from busking in their office’s back alley to playing shows the Long Beach Folk Revival Festival and the Mint LA at a rapid pace.

With a nimble blend of banjo, guitar and vocals, this tiny but mighty group makes songs that’ll give you both a knowing look and a few playful winks. In their hands, the sorry solitude of country music is pepped up with flashes of bluegrass and the charms of modern Americana. They're like your first crush, all grown up.
