* A MiniBomb is a a concept I've been playing with for the last year. Each MiniBomb is in the same key and tempo and is very short (i.e. not a complete song, just a build-up and drop). They're useful for making interesting DJ mixes where you simply alter the order of bombs to make new remixes. I've been working in the 6A key but I'd like to have MiniBombs for every key eventually. If you like this idea and want to get involved in building a MiniBomb library, get in touch. When we get enough, we can release a library of tiny tunes.

This summer is all about the Toxic Funk jams over at Breakbeat Paradise Recordings and for the 15th installment of the Toxic Funk series we have welcomed back the Suckaside team to produce 2 timeless funky joints.

Suckaside aka DJ B-Side and Sucka Timmy is always on point when putting their tasty funky mashups together and this time around they’re keeping it fresh with some soulful funky twists on some catchy RnB jams.

This is the second time Suckaside is dropping a toxic funk 7”inch after their highly successful Vol. 7 from 2021.
Starting things off with the catchy Sometimes Bootyful that featuring some smooth RnB vocals on a funky organ riff with a steady rocking breakbeat.

I cut up lots of his loops and even resampled some of his sounds to make new ones....eventually ending up with this tasty little banger.
