Here's my Submission for Hans Zimmer's "Destiny's Door" contest. 
I took the theme "bleeding fingers" literally.  When you're a full-time worker and Dad, it's hard to keep up your guitar chops when you only play once every few months.  I don't have hardened finger tips anymore, so those "power slides" left some good cuts.  I played with several different ideas, but ultimately decided to leave Hans's Drums, Horns, and female singer track and re-imagine the harmonies and rhythm with just guitars.  My goal was to accent and compliment his melodies, not compete with them - so I kept it simple. Here's hoping I do well, there's some great competition on here.

Clown Thief Waltz

This is a new 2020 version of my older piece 'Rondo for TIE Fighters' - written as a kind of tongue-in-cheek homage to Scherzo for X-Wings (of which I have a mock-up of available on my feed).

This has been reworked from the ground up with new brass (Junkie XL Brass), new orchestration, new mix, everything. Only the notes are the same...well most of them.
