Nature As My Friend

It's always hard to lose someone you care about. 
It's even harder to lose someone from your youth.
A great friend, someone who was always there for you
no matter what. Just like family!

She was a real Tomboy. I still chuckle and smile thinking about it.
One time she got into a fight because some random person grabbed her ass
when walking by. She knocked this dude right through the bar's window!
That's how badass she was, hence her nickname " One Punch Nicky ".

She was very pretty and had a killer friendly smile which in turn
caught most people off guard due her aggressive nature.
Which often would work in her favor! She was a real spitfire. 
Can't even remember how many times
I grabbed her by the hair to break up fights! She wasn't a hateful person.
Just one of those things growing up. Troubled, being young and stupid!

So many good memories and even the bad, will cherish those always.
It's bin so long now, still missing you dear Nicolai.
This track is a reminder to myself that I will never forget you!

I recently spent 2 weeks sitting by my fathers bedside with my brother and sister ,until he Passed and moved on to the next life. Our family for many years have been practising Spiritualists. hopefully he is now in the Happy Hunting Ground as his spirit guide was a Native American Indian.

"Going Home" 

A little demo song I made and played this weekend.. still subject to some changes maybe. This was played using my old Korg SGProX as a master controller. The main keyboard sound comes from Yamaha Montage 8 synthesizer (original TX816 Electric Piano FM sound converted into Montage format), layered with Keyscape (MKS-20 sound). The main lead sounds come from Arturia Jun-6V (Juno-6) and UVI CS-M (CS80), and the bass is Arturia Mini V (Minimoog), layered with UVI Ultramini. The drums come from Native Instruments Abbey Road 80s Drummer. 

Recorded and mixed in Cubase with some significant help from iZotope Neutron. Mastered with Ozone 11.

It is more difficult when we don't have an army around us..and have seen so much Death both in personal life and across the Borders..and although only I know my experience of that, I can Empathise with others in Similar circumstance.  It is Not a bottomless Pit (Despite what they try to make you believe). I have managed to find my inner Strength in God (without a Religion or any other institution)) and so want that for others who Get this. To be struck down for speaking Truth by a Force reflected in Science Fiction is a Terrible thing..but to make it a Blessing in disguise is the True  aim. There is science Fact! I have never seen a Film, neither read a book about Anunnaki.. I just knew the Reality had to Return one day to See what a mess they had left behind. Not all Humans made it to the future because they were so engulfed in Corruption but Most did. Reptilians went their own Way and so did Humans. Hence we will meet again some Sunny Day, if you get my meaning. We had to agree to Differ.

When I was little, my parents divorced and we moved with my mother to the other side of the world. My parents always stayed on good terms, and we could call and write, so it wasn't like he had died or anything - but suddenly our father was just... gone from our everyday world. Over the decades, we have been able to catch up every couple of years or so, but parting each time always feels like losing him all over again, and no matter how old I get, that little girl inside me rises to the surface, re-living the confusion, hurt and loss. 

A few years ago, my father showed me a poem that little girl had written and sent to him during those first few years apart:

Scratch Kelly constructs a synthesis of dark ambient, industrial and wave music. She creates a diverse sonic landscape, from brutal and unforgiving industrial sounds to dreamy dark wave territory marked by melodic synth bass so deep you could drown in it. Her music is designed to bring a sense of realisation, contemplation and healing to the darker places of the psyche.
First surfacing in 2018 with as part of the Hobart based duo Soundtractor, and moving onto solo music production in 2022 with a series of self-released EP's and albums. Her work is heavily influenced by darkwave and industrial electro, but her  inclusion of complex, often experimental rhythms and emotive melodies sets her apart from the rest of the dark electronic scene. She has received her greatest exposure so far on radio and at the Unconformity Festival.
