After putting All Rites Reserved to rest once and for all, Barry C. is taking a creatively different, raw direction with music, composing and recording as a solo act. No gigs, just straight up record and release. From the ashes of ARR rises a more urgent, "back from the dead" approach to jam rock, garage and shoegaze... well, make your own observations. I'm just trying to have some wicked fun, here. Enjoy!

Drawing inspiration from Funk, Shoegaze and New-Wave/Synth-Punk, Certain Satellites came for your hearts and souls with a common ambition to become like a well-loved Lifetime movie...only with lots of synthesizers. Various wildly energetic and entertaining live shows plus the release of their self-distributed demo EP Now You Look Angelic (2010) cemented Certain Satellites early on as ...not quite like everyone else in the little town of Lake Charles, LA. Throughout 2011, they marched onward through many more a show, dazzling, enthralling and captivating whatever and whomever appeared to have eyes and ears. You had to ask the guy next to you to pinch you to make sure you weren't dreaming! Unfortunately, in mid-2012, the Certain Satellites tale came to an indefinite hiatus due to circumstances out of the band’s control... but not before the release of yet another EP entitled The Stranger. However, as of April 2013, they've returned...and it all starts again!

I teach high school math and I am 40. I'm a country boy. This is my first EVER attempt at singing anything on a recording that I'm remotely proud of. Listen to the words and the guitar.
