Nació el 16 de febrero de 1965. Cursó estudios bíblicos y fue pastor por nueve años. Realizó sus labores de guía espiritual en la congregación de Iglesia de Dios, en Van Nuys, California, durante tres años, mientras asistía al seminario.

Tiempo después fundó la comunidad cristiana: "Amistad y Vida" en Aguaprieta, Sonora. Actualmente Amistad y Vida está bajo la dirección del pastor Oscar Iñarritu. Jesús Adrián fue también pastor asistente en Vino Nuevo en Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua por cuatro años, bajo el liderazgo del pastor Víctor Richards, donde estuvo a cargo de las células y dirigía uno de los grupos de alabanza de la congregación. Por tres años fue director de alabanza del grupo De Hombre a Hombre con el que viajó a través de México dirigiendo la alabanza en los congresos de "De hombre a hombre".

Después de haber estado orando por algunos años y considerando algunas otras ciudades de Estados Unidos, Jesús Adrián y Pecos Romero decidieron que Phoenix, Arizona, era el lugar en el que Dios los quería para iniciar una nueva congregación. Por ello en agosto de 2007, Jesús Adrián y su familia se mudaron a Phoenix, Arizona para "espiar la tierra" y planear el inicio de Vastago Epicentro. Después de ellos, alrededor de 20 familias se mudaron de otras ciudades de Estados Unidos y México para apoyarlos en esta visión. Tiene con su esposa Pecos, 3 hijos: Jaanai, Melissa y Adrián Roberto, que también ha iniciado su ministerio en la música cristiana.

En el año 2002 publicó el libro Cenando con Jesús, donde invita a crear intimidad con Jesucristo.

En la actualidad, Jesús Adrián Romero compagina su labor pastoral con la dirección de la productora musical, Vastago, una de las principales en el mercado cristiano hispano de todo el mundo. El 8 de septiembre de 2010 se anunció que Jesús Adrián Romero resultó nominado para los Premios Grammy Latinos, en la categoría de mejor álbum de música cristiana.
Jonathan Mark Witt Holder es el segundo de 3 hijos del matrimonio de Jerry Witt y Nola Holder, jóvenes misioneros estadounidenses, quienes en ese mismo año de 1962 se trasladaron a Durango, ciudad en México en donde iniciaron una obra misionera. La misma, habiendo quedado inconclusa al poco tiempo debido a la trágica muerte de su padre Jerry Witt, continúa hoy en día siendo atendida por su madre Nola Holder. Su padre, Jerry Witt, falleció cuando Marcos cumplió los 2 años de edad.

Su madre, Nola Holder, contrajo segundas nupcias años después con Francisco Warren, misionero estadounidense que adoptó como propia la visión misionera que Dios había puesto en manos de Nola y Jerry, su difunto esposo. Se quedó en Durango para fundar y desarrollar nuevas congregaciones, pero principalmente para ser el esposo de Nola y a quien Marcos les dio un regalo, así como a quien agradecen el tener 2 hijos más, Lorena y Nolita Warren Holder, las gemelas que en su matrimonio tuvo años después.

Francisco Warren fue quien asumió el rol de padre adoptivo y el de guía espiritual, ya que inculcó en el pequeño Marcos el estilo de vida del cristianismo. De joven, Marcos fue designado como ministro (líder) musical en una congregación cristiana de San Antonio y, tras realizar estudios básicos en el American School of Durango, México, estudió música en la Universidad Juárez de Durango. Paralelamente inició sus estudios de Teología en el Institute Bible College de la ciudad de San Antonio, Texas. Luego avanzó en su preparación musical y ministerial en la Universidad de Nebraska y en un conservatorio privado.

En 1986 se casó con la estadounidense Miriam Lee (n. 1963-), con quien tiene cuatro hijos: Elena Jannette (1987), Jonathan David (1990), Kristofer Marcos (1991) y Carlos Franklin (1994).

Marcos Witt fundó en el año de 1987 el Grupo CanZion, llamado CanZion Producciones, una empresa mexicana productora de música cristiana moderna en español. Su primer disco Canción a Dios, producido en 1986, interpretado por él mismo, marca el inicio formal de su carrera musical. Pero fue en 1991 con el Disco Proyecto AA que proyectó su música al ámbito internacional (entre algunas canciones se destaca "Renuévame", tema que actualmente se canta en muchas iglesias cristianas).

Además de presidir CanZion Producciones fundó otras empresas como Pulso Records y Más que Música. También es fundador del Instituto CanZion, que iniciara como CCDMAC, escuela de música que tiene como fin formar líderes de alabanza en todo el mundo, actualmente más de 79 escuelas en América, Europa y África. En el área de literatura, Marcos ha escrito a la fecha 10 libros en español, uno de ellos traducido también al inglés.

Durante su carrera ha realizado numerosos conciertos, como la celebración nocturna en Ciudad de México (llamado "Homenaje a Jesús" en el Estadio Azteca de la ciudad antes mencionada) y en otros lugares de Latinoamérica. También ha fundado diversos grupos de liderazgo como Lidere del Grupo CanZion.

A partir del 15 de septiembre de 2002, Marcos pasó a ser Lider de la comunidad Hispana de la Iglesia Lakewood,1 del cual sus predicaciones cubren todos los medios de comunicación. También ha ganado premios como Gente (en 2001) por Ritmo Latino y el Grammy (en septiembre de 2003, 2004, noviembre de 2006 y 2007) por mejor Álbum de música cristiana.

El 15 de noviembre del 2006 fue declarado Visita Ilustre de la ciudad de Rancagua (Chile), por el alcalde de la ciudad, Carlos Arellano Baeza.

El 19 de octubre de 2009, fue declarado "Visitante Ilustre" en la ciudad de Neuquén, Argentina, por el Gobernador de la provincia, Jorge Sapag.

El 11 de diciembre de 2009 fue declarado "Visitante distinguido" de la Ciudad de Tuxtepec, Oax., Méx. durante el concierto No. 92 del año, por el Presidente Municipal Lic. Gustavo Pacheco Villaseñor.

El 26 de junio de 2010 fue declarado "Visitante Distinguido" de la ciudad de Boca del Rio, Ver., Méx. durante el concierto realizado en dicha ciudad, por el alcalde lic. Miguel Ángel Yunes Márquez.

El 1º de diciembre de 2010 fue declarado "Hijo Distinguido" de la ciudad de Santiago de los Caballeros, República Dominicana.

A lo largo de su trayectoria Marcos Witt ha sido distinguido en ciudades de El Salvador; Argentina; Panamá; Viña del Mar, Chile; Belo Horizonte, Brasil; Torreón; Monterrey; Nuevo León, Coahuila, México; Talcahuano, Chile; Cali,Guatemala y Colombia, con las «Llaves de la Ciudad». En Colombia sostuvo una polémica discusión con el escritor anticlerical Ricardo Abdahllah[1].

[editar]Ecumenismo

Marcos Witt el 19 de junio de 2006 asistió al III Encuentro Fraterno organizado por la fundación CRECES (Comunión Renovada de Evangélicos y Católicos en el Espíritu Santo) en el Luna Park,2 con el lema: "Que todos sean uno para que el mundo crea". Sus principales oradores fueron el predicador del Papa, el franciscano italiano Raniero Cantalamessa que llegó al país para dictar un retiro a los obispos y el pastor evangélico, también italiano, Giovanni Traettino.

En donde al final hubo una conferencia de prensa en la cual Marcos Witt dijo: "honro a mis padres, honro a mis abuelos...Pero necesitamos buscar un nuevo camino, yo me uní a esta invitación porque quiero investigar este camino, quiero caminar por esta vereda diferente, porque ya conozco la otra".3

Por las diferentes interpretaciones de estas declaraciones existe una enorme polémica en muchos grupos cristianos en el mundo de habla hispana. Esta polémica se basa en que en la biblia menciona que los creyentes no se deben de juntar con los incrédulos en una misma fe (2a corintios 6:14-18) (lo que se conoce como Ecumenismo vea el articulo) y otros pasajes de la Biblia mencionan que los creyentes deben de ser unidos Jn 17:17-21. (ver la hoja de discusión de este mismo articulo).

Posteriormente Marcos Witt grabó un video en el cual explica las declaraciones que realizó en la rueda de prensa del citado evento.4

Welcome and Shalom! This site is dedicated to worshiping YHWH our God with songs written straight out of the Bible. We, as a family, pray these songs will bless you, and help you hide God's Word in your hearts.

All our music is available free for download. (For songs that are no longer available for download here because of the limit set by Soundcloud,  please visit our website for another download link.) If you wish to support us by giving an offering, please use the PayPal link on our website. These free downloads (mp3s and music sheets) are for personal use only (also can be used in church and group settings).

Together with our home church, our goal as a family is to return to worshiping God with His Word, with "Psalms, Hymns and Spiritual songs". We pray that the songs we produce may glorify God and encourage other families in the body of Christ to worship Him together with songs and praises from Scripture. The Word of God edifies and builds families together as one that they may serve Him.

Scripture songs have been a significant part of our lives for several years. By singing God's Word, we are meditating and proclaiming the Living Word of God that has the power to not only transform lives but also to impart life. It is the very core of our existence for by God's Word, the world was created. John 6:63 It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.

Wai and Esther have been married for over 18 years. They have 2 teenage children, Rebekah and Samuel. Grace is Esther's sister, a trained music teacher and vocalist who also serves as the choir director of her home church.

A Word From Esther...how it all began...

In June 2009, I was asked by my pastor to put music to scripture word for word, specifically to the 15 Songs of Ascents (Psalms 120 to 134). From the start of the first Psalm which I worked on (which was Psalm 130) to the completion of last one (Psalm 133), I have not ceased to be amazed, for the Lord gave me melody after melody to fit His words. I believe this is because we, the church of Jesus Christ, are entering into a season where these psalms will become more and more relevant, as we look forward to our Lord's return. I thank my pastor, Ps. SM Lee, for allowing the Lord the use him to challenge me to the task. (Your feedback and guidance were crucial to keeping me on track.) I thank my church for enthusiastically learning and singing these psalms. (Hearing you sing them week after week gave me the encouragement to continue writing.) I specially thank my husband and soul-mate, KW Mui, for being very much a part of this project, and for providing me with all that I needed to work on these Scripture songs. (You were the first to have the vision that we would sing straight out of our Bibles!) I thank my children, Rebekah & Samuel, for their contribution, endless support and love. I thank my sister, Grace, for helping me with my vocals and diction, and for lending her voice.. I thank my friends (in particular Pastor Wah Lok and Catherine Wong).  for their feedback and encouragement. Most of all, I thank my God, my Lord and Master, for seeing me fit to be a channel for what He wants to bless the body of Christ with.
