Roberto (real name: Rob Kirkaldy) is a London based Techno producer, DJ and Remixer. Considered to be one of the most exciting new UK Techno artists in recent years, he combines influences from Detroit and Amsterdam to create his own sound unique to the UK.

As a DJ, he brings a special energy to the dance floor that is the product of many years of dedication to the craft. Never one to let an audience get bored, his sets explore many angles of techno, which has seen him play at some of the most well respected clubs around the world, including fabric in London and both Tresor and Berghain in Berlin. His DJ skills have also made him a popular choice for podcasters, having been called upon to deliver mixes for esteemed shows like the CLR Podcast, Slam Radio and Electric Deluxe.

With an already impressive discography, Roberto has built his production credits with EPs on the likes of Rekids, Fachwerk, ARTS, Solar Phenomena and Obscura, as well as a host of remixes for artists like Jamie Anderson, Roberto Clementi, DJ Rolando and Shinedoe. His own tracks have been remixed by artists such as Steve Rachmad (Sterac), Mike Dehnert, Trevino and Peverelist.

At the beginning of 2015, Roberto launched his own Fossil Archive label. Predominantly a vinyl label (though releases are also available digitally), the ethos of the imprint is that it must not compromise on the sound.

As Roberto said in a recent interview with Data Transmission: “I love the fact that you can hold a piece of music in your hands. They are art pieces in their own right. Music is the product of many years of development; much like a fossil that can be buried deep underground for millions of years, until it is discovered. I wanted to ensure the music is of the highest quality, which means not rushing things.”

Ive been djing since the age of 16. Played allover the UK. Done a few over sea gigs such as:
Australia, Spain, And Mallorca.
I mostly produce Makina(Spanish Hardcore), Bounce, Trance, Hard Dance etc
Ive been releasing my tracks on vinyl since the year 2000 till recently when its only been MP3.
I do have a vinyl cutting machine so if anyone would like any of my work cut to vinyl i can do so.

Eastside Records uk started up in January 2014 as an Independent Record Label.

Eastside Records approached and announced our main team member LeeB3Edwards and are pleased to have him on-board. Our team members have the skills and experience to make this label a phenomenon in the music industry.

We are working with a number of DJ Producer's which are known in the UK House scene for production of creative sounds and beats. Eastside Record's continues to scout for the best Unknown producers to add creativity to the label.

Our current DJ/ Producer's have released tracks with the likes of Defected Records, House Ent' and CreativeMinds to name but a few. 

B3 has developed his own music productions, also involved in a few projects alongside DJ producer's.   Lance Morgan, now working with production team members at Eastside Records uk. He has been on the music scene since 2006, establishing the skills set to become a successful A&R Producer and DJ.

A dash of night with a pinch of wobble, seasoned with a light sprinkling of harmonics, whisked for 30 mins in a cosmic blender..

Taking influences from groovy night, and forest trance, James manages to weave a story which twists and turns through many moods and feelings, giving the listener a satisfying ride with his chunky bass, funky rhythms, and complex textures. Encompassing many ideas, and not being tied to any specific sound, Sprocket is a cacophony of ideas, polished off with cheeky structure and clever percussion.

Background:

James has been heavily involved in the UK psytrance scene since 2006 as both a DJ and producer - mixing many different styles throughout this time. Finally, after working hard in the studio to take that extra step and produce his own style and sounds, James took on the name 'Sprocket' for his musical productions, and has since been working hard, traveling around much of Europe to play his well received live sets at festivals such as Momento Demento, Ozora, Tangra, Cosmo and, as a DJ, Freqs of Nature. James has re-focused his DJ sets onto both dark (but groovy!) progressive, and forest, which are always delivered with the same captivating energy and passion people have come to love from him. From this he has now been signed to Zenon Records and is looking forward to continuing to share this diverse and forward thinking style of music across the globe.
