We have rolled around to one of my favourite forms of Holding Hands releases. The various artists goodness that is Slam Jams, this being number 3.

I have drafted in bangers of the highest calibre from the likes of Ste Roberts, Bolam, Inner Zone and Yosh. They go high, they go low, they go fast and they go…slightly less fast. If you like slammers, and I’m guessing that you do, then this will be a veritable day out at the fair for your ears.

OK enough of my blather. Go and listen to the damn things yourself and decide if you like them, rather than trying to work it out from reading a bloody press release you weirdos. 

All four tracks are produced and sculpted for the club. They want big sound systems and dark rooms. Close your eyes, hold hands and experience transcendental space flight...

claude b has been producing for several years, driven by multiple inspirations, from hip hop to classical techno and jungle. Alongside his friends from Solstice303 with whom he organizes parties in different clubs in Nantes (France), he starts to release more tracks.

His method for recording machines and the spontaneity of his rhythms give an almost human and frenetic side to his music, yet very electronic. This 3rd EP Spectral Matters is the mark of it: 3 deep and vibrant tracks, each enhancing in their own way the use of his favorite drum machine.

The track Spectral Matters is a perfect trip switching between different acid basslines, house parts and breaks parts, supported by suspended yet constantly changing textures. The whole at 137 BPM, tinged with the deep color of a very simple chord progression and the aggressiveness of an 808, gives a fast and funky fusion between deep house and trance.

Quince's return after an 8-year hiatus is nothing short of electrifying, as he unveils his highly anticipated four-track 'Anthology Of Interest' EP on SoHaSo's offshoot label, NOWHERE. Hailing from Utrecht, this talented producer takes inspiration from the fluid sounds of Detroit techno, infusing it with pulsating rhythms, alluring keyboard stabs, and sultry basslines. Among the EP's standout tracks, 'Space Pilot 3000' shines as a futuristic and jumpy electro track, where the worlds of Drexciya and Juan Atkins collide in a blinding orange supernova.

'Space Pilot 3000' propels listeners into an intergalactic journey with its mesmerizing sonic palette. Quince skillfully blends the intricate elements of Drexciya's otherworldly soundscapes and Juan Atkins' pulsating rhythms to create an irresistibly infectious groove. The track's distinctive character lies in its ability to transport the listener to a vividly imagined future, where cosmic energies converge, and dancefloors pulsate with energy. The buoyant synths and playful melodies intertwine seamlessly, creating a musical tapestry that evokes a sense of weightlessness and wonder. Quince's triumphant return with 'Space Pilot 3000' and the rest of the 'Anthology Of Interest' EP showcases his ability to craft a sonic universe that pays homage to the genre's pioneers while charting new territories of its own. 
'Anthology Of Interest' is coming out on May 29 via SoHaSo's offshoot label, NOWHERE.

Waxing, is named after the lunar phase that crescendos into a Full Moon from the darkness of New. As a result, Waxing is a radiant techno track, with a funky acid bassline and a shoegaze inspired wall of sound that oscillates under a spell of reverb, growing brighter as the track goes on - similar to a waxing moon as it approaches Full.

Luca Tresque debuts on Unrilis with a driving techno EP that has raw sounds and hypnotic grooves.

Hailing from Austria, Luca Tresque is the co-owner of Splatter imprint and has released on Florian Meindl's FLASH, Robert Hoff's trau-ma, and Alex Bau's Credo. Known for his exceptional DJ skills being a resident at Kantine Club, he has also played at the respected KHIDI, Werk, and Grelle Forelle venues.

Unrilis is a record label Co-Founded by the late Rino Cerrone, and Luca Tresque is the latest artist to join the imprints roster.

"Dunes Everywhere" has a murky lead synth combining with fizzing hi-hats and a ground shaking low-end.
