A tribute to the location that inspired a label, "Anjunabeach" from Above & Beyond is one of the instantly recognisable instrumentals in the label's discography. Five years since the original, label favourite Genix teams with rising stars Las Salinas for a vibrant contemporary remake - taken from the iTunes #1 dance album, Anjunabeats Volume 11.

Fresh from Breaking Bad on the Main Stage of Electric Daisy Carnival (which saw Bryan Cranston resurrect his infamous Walter White character on stage with the band in front of 80,000 people), UK trio Above & Beyond release their latest single 'Counting Down The Days'. 

Taken from their Billboard dance number #1 album 'We Are All We Need', 'Counting Down The Days' is also Above & Beyond’s first track to feature the vocals of former Mercury Music awards nominee Gemma Hayes. 

"We first came across Gemma through a bootleg mix that found its way on to our Group Therapy radio show ," said the band's Jono Grant. "Coming from a folk background, her voice has an honesty and emotion to it that really stood out from the pack and felt a perfect match for this song co-written with Victoria Horn."

Having begun the year with the release of their critically acclaimed and Best Dance Record Grammy nominated third LP 'We Are All We Need’, Above & Beyond cap off their most prolific year yet with ‘Anjunabeats Volume 12’.

The newest member of the Anjuna team, Grum, adds his unmistakable progressive sound, former Norin & Rad star Nick Sember hits new heights and the ever-ascendant Ilan Bluestone teams up with find-of-the-year vocalist Giuseppe de Luca for ‘Bigger Than Love’.

It can be a bit nervy debuting completely new material that no-one has ever heard at such a big gig - broadcast the world over - especially when it comes with some curveball moments such as the drop on this one. With Vintage & Morelli's debut artist album just around the corner, it's our great privilege to present the standout first single, "Daydream". Premiered recently on Above & Beyond's "Group Therapy" radio show, this breathtaking track not only best represents the Serbian talent's dynamic and versatile sound, but also is truly one of his finest compositions to date.

A patient, heavily filtered groove and piano-based lead set a deep and mysterious tone in the early going. The sensual soundscape is enhanced by haunting vocal accents, as well as resonant bass layers (an artist signature). As the opening build begins to wind back down, gorgeous piano lines begin to emerge, setting the stage for an awe-inspiring breakdown. Specifically, in the break, the emotive piano theme is joined by a plaintive "Who are you" vocal refrain. Energetic, trance-influenced synths follow, creating an aura of almost overwhelming suspense. Finally, the deep rhythm drops back into the mix, which crescendoes to absolutely glorious effect.

The incomparable Shingo Nakamura begins his eighth year as a contributor to our imprint with the one and only remix of "Daydream". Fans of the Japanese virtuoso are already well aware that he is capable of writing superlative music in a wide variety of genres; given the deeper vibes in the original mix, he has chosen to inject a shot of adrenaline into his interpretation. Side-chained pads and electrifying chords establish the peak-hour sound early. In the breakdown, the gorgeous piano motif from the original mix is solo'd and then later joined, once again, by layered, goosebumps-inducing pads and chords. The drop to follow is absolutely thrilling -- easily one of the most emotive, intelligent, and anthemic arrangements of Shingo's storied career.
