Mök is a black metal/crust punk band from Oslo, Norway. Our current lineup have been playing together for approximately 3 years, while the original lineup started out in 2006. Early incarnations of the band leaned towards black ’n roll elements - which is still very much present in the music, and doom elements - which is now more or less entirely removed. For the entire evolution of the lineup from start up until now, check out (www.metal-archives.com/bands/Mök/). Notable past members are; multi instrumentalist Øyvind Kvalvaagnes (Astaroth, Attentat, Kvalvaag, Valgaldr, Wendigo, ex-Arvas, ex-Dødsfall (live), ex-Nattefrost (live)) played bass from 2008-2012. He still steps in to play live gigs when needed. Also, Trish (Elände, Gestalte, Hinsides, Nidvind, Craft (live), Isvind (live), ex-DödsÄngel, Asagraum, ex-Djevelkult, ex-Gate to Khaos, ex-Skitliv, ex-Nattefrost (live)) played drums from 2013-2014, until she found other projects to focus her energy on. However, we would emphasis that Peter Pendragon (Moonlore, Thelma Love Fest), lead guitarist and main songwriter (2006-2009, 2010-2014), together with Oddasatan (ex-Aldri), drummer and songwriter (2006-2012), without doubt were the main contributors, until they decided to leave.

Throughout the time of existence, we have released two demos; one full length; and one EP. The first demo “Assie Tales” (Dec, 2008) is to be considered partly a black metal and doom project. It consists of 3 tracks, “King ov Kings” is a black metal song from the forests of old, while “Deadman” can best be described as disturbing black doom. The last track “We Are” is a mix of the two previously mentioned songs, with a notably black ’n roll vibe added to it. This energy is still living in the band today. Our second demo “Audiarrhea” (Dec, 2009) consisted of 2 tracks passing on the same musical aesthetics and attitude as the first demo, but with a somewhat enhanced musicianship and production, while still being a DIY style from start to finish. “Mökamorphosis”, our first full length, had to wait until May, 2012 to see the darkness of the night. It consisted of 7 tracks and was mastered by Tom Kvålsvoll (Sarkom, ex-DHG, ex-Nocturnal Breed) at Strype Audio, in the grey dirt in the midts of Oslo. Even though the sound and attitude by large remained, “Mökamorphosis” is firmly rooted in heavy rock/metal, while the black metal and doom influences pays a rare vist on some of the tracks. After the release of “Mökamorphosis”, we were trying to reencounter these missing musical styles, when making new tracks, spawing a couple of songs ("Furbon" and "Gypsy of the North”). Sadly they are lost, never to be recorded or heard again. 

Still doing the devils deeds after so many years, brings us to present time, and to our current release “Kamikaze Slug”. This is our fiercest, loudest and craziest record to date, thanks to our brilliant lineup; Petter Øes (ex-Cunt Junkies (live), ex-Bad Penny), Lee Keen (Vulvaniax), Hydrocephalus (ex-Råte, ex-Moonlore) and Entity von Mök (ex-Moonlore). It will be released on cassette by Snake Oil Kassettforlag in a limited 50x, and hit the streets early desember this year.

"Dehydrated Goat" is happy to announce the release of our first studio album "Genocide Against The Brain Cells" ! Recorded in 2009, it finally comes out to our fans and listeners and is more than 40 minutes long.

"Dehydrated Goat" is based on the collective effort of 5 members. The band has been active since 2006 and hails from Riga, the capital city of Latvia. Dehydrated Goat's material is best classified as mid-tempo grind (not -core, -gore, -metal etc.). The band doesn't try to emphasize "brutality" or "technicality" (mimicking a turkey on guitar), and keeps their songs in a somewhat simple manner, so even people that hit the bottle regularly may understand what's going on. Thematic orientation is not kept in strict conceptual margins - themes vary from careless lifestyle and parodies of worldviews, to thoughtful commentary about the ongoing processes in modern Western mind gestalt. Thorough fuck-it-all hilarity mixes with serious revelations.

The material found in "GABC" documents just some of the ideas and experiences accumulated by band members in these 4 years of existence, therefore, since the recording of the first album the band has concluded an initial starting phase, allowing the band to accept new challenges  and move on - the band has already finished the recording of a second album with the working title "In The Shadow Of The Cock", which will be released next year by a currently unannounced label. We've also started to tackle material for the third album.

STYROFOAM SANCHEZ is a post industrial sound and sculptural installation personifying the trash island in the pacific gyre. Spawning from a hybrid of human DNA and trash, Sanchez is a dystopian amalgamated magnification of failed civilizations, spliced rogue technologies gone awry spawning dark pulses of technological neurosis and inner psychosis . When fish put fin to sand then you'll understand, fish can carry guns. Styrofoam Sanchez represents the last molecule before total conversion of humans into futuristic trash receptacles. Human, your skull will be in a museum. The post apocolyptic outfit presents a high intensity, often interactive onslaught of sonic and visual mayhem, utilizing rogue-manufactured styrofoam instruments , voice, synthesizers, custom microphones, as well as live projections and customized light sources .

Styrofoam Sanchez is represented exclusively through RATSKIN RECORDS, and will be conducting a full United States tour from August 16th-September 16th 2014 in support of a 12'' LP / DVD / book project, titled "Empire Undewater" . Collaborative projects are in the works with the legendary Bastard Noise upon return from the tour, as well as a gallery installation at the MOCO Gallery in Oakland, CA, as well as a European Tour in 2015-16.

Styrofoam Sanchez has toured or performed with The Ruins, Laetitia Sonami , Caroliner Rainbow, Nate Young and Aaron Dilloway of Wolf Eyes, Blue Sabbath Black Cheer,AMK, Damion Romero, COCK E.S.P., Headboggle, Horaflora Yaxamillo (Japan) , Crank Sturgeon, PCRV, The Haters and many more.

Cunt Butcher was an Australian blue metal band. The experiment in offensive but catchy grindcore began in 2004 as a solo bass project with two goals in mind: - to firstly create the heaviest, most aggressive music possible using only bass guitars, and secondly to entertain and offend and bring the danger and controversy back. It is chauvinistic, racist, sexist, meat eating, beer swilling, hate driven grind without all the politically correct bullshit that pervades the genre. It calls a spade 'a spade', rather than either 'a manual excavation implement' or 'a person of colour'.

Whether or not these goals have been achieved may be debatable, but have a listen or better yet, attend a show, and make your own mind up!

Sadly, these tracks are the final recordings of Carcass Butcher. They were recorded 3 days prior to his passing. His intenetion was to release these for free, in March of 2015 at a gig in Katoomba, Australia. 

Due to his passing, this release and gig was never to eventuate. 

These recordings have been released to commemorate the first anniversary of his passing.
